Kyle let out a painful cry as his hand lit up in flames and burnt brightly. He staggered back and screamed continuously but no matter how much he hit the hand he couldn’t put the fire out! With no other choice, he shaped his palm like a blade and slashed violently, cutting off the burning arm and dropping to his knees.
He gritted his teeth as he noticed energy surging from all parts of the city and into Alex. His wounds were getting healed miraculously.
“When I was younger, I fought. I don’t know what and who I was fighting for. All I know was I fought. I always found myself in a battle no matter where I went. This made me realize I am fighting for the wrong thing. I wasn’t fighting for what I believed in but I didn’t have a choice since I lacked the power to make a decision of my own. So I got stronger. With the more strength acquired, the more chains binding me shattered.” Alex said with an unfocused gaze.
