Alex expected the Emperor to lose his temper and fight to defend his image in front of so many nobles but the man only revealed a bitter smile while waving his hand in a certain direction.
Alex’s eyes followed his hands and almost instantly twitched as he saw people he could remember their faces from the energy revolver academy. Back then when he had the identity of Jaric Gale, these people were his allies.
Although he had no special bond with them, seeing them in such a bad condition vexed him to the core since he considered all of them his subordinates. They have been tortured and interrogated fiercely by the people of this planet!
“You...” Alex let out a cruel smile!

The ground beneath his feet shattered as his cold gaze remained pinned on the emperor who kept his head lowered at all times. The man’s posture made it inappropriate for Alex to attack him since he was already showing submission and repentance.
“Not bad... for an emperor, you are really wise... at least you know how to protect what is yours ...” Alex said calmly as he waved his hand and the invisible force pulled all ten of the envoys towards him, placing them behind him.
“But you see, my people came here with pure intentions yet they were treated badly.... Outside the gift which you owe me, I believe my people deserve an apology...” Alex said slowly while the smile on his face widened.
Hearing his words the Emperor turned pale in fear as he seemed to have understood Alex’s line of thought. He slowly shook his head as a way of begging Alex not to do what was on his mind but Alex remained calm, with a smile which couldn’t leave his face.

The nobles of this empire remained seated as they whispered some words in displeasure while Alex spoke, oblivious to the danger at hand.
“You, my emperor have shown remorse but it seems these ancient relics are still insistent on their position and even openly criticized me... For that reason, they will pay the ultimate price!” Alex’s eyes turned cold as he said those final words!

The invisible force gripped the necks of all the nobles in the giant courtroom, throwing them into the air.
Cries and screams for help filled the air as they struggled fiercely but if their Emperor couldn’t win against this man who are they to even entertain such thoughts? They gazed at their emperor’s bowing figure as they pleaded for help but their emperor dared not look up.
“Please show mercy!” Emperor Qikath muttered but Alex shook his head with a sigh.
“For every action, there must be a reaction. If these people showed remorse, it wouldn’t have gotten to this point. By the way, I have a thing for the blockheaded older generation. No matter the planet I go to, the old ones are always the issue because of their lack of flexibility. I’m sure they have successors, I personally believe they will save his majesty better” Alex said in a calm voice but to the nobles, this was a death sentence!

Bone-breaking sounds could be heard as their necks were twisted beyond repair! Alex withdrew his power and watched as the countless corpses began falling to the ground.
“No one hurts my people and gets away with it” Alex said with venom and disdain in his eyes, losing the calm demeanor he once carried.
The envoys sent gazed at Alex’s back with immense respect and reverence in their eyes. Some even began weeping, after remembering everything these people put them through, they finally felt avenged!
“We have more to talk about. But for now, I think my people need to rest” Alex said calmly and only then did Emperor Qikath look up to meet his gaze.
It was the gaze of a defeated tyrant. With everything that has happened today, his image in the eyes of his people will definitely change but if he chooses to fight, this planet won’t be able to bare the consequences of making an enemy out of this person with incredible strength.
“I have prepared your rooms for you and your men. They are all close by to ensure the safety of your people and of course, a king-size room was prepared for you and your wife” Emperor Qikath said with a smile.
Hearing this, Alex’s eyes twitched while Sharyn’s face turned red. She wanted to refute the claims but she suddenly lost her ability to speak properly. Instead, she looked toward Alex and waited for his reply.
She was in no position to say anything without his permission.
“Thank you... it’s an honor to stay in the most beautiful civilization I have come across, all my life” Alex said with a slight bow.
With all the nobles dead, he had no reason to remain hostile, especially if the host wasn’t showing hostility.
“Ooh?” Emperor Qikath muttered with a raised eyebrow. He could sense the sincerity in Alex’s words, which was quite shocking.
Who would have thought someone as powerful as Alex would make such a statement? His eyes left Alex and moved to the people behind him.
“I have prepared pills and tools to help deal with your injuries... I would have sent our best medics to help you out but I’m sure you are still skeptical about my intentions...” Emperor Qikath said calmly before he shifted his gaze back to Alex.
“We will be having a grand feast in five hours to celebrate your arrival and talk business... the new members of my cabinet will be present there since the old ones are...gone... Please rest well until then..” Emperor Qikath said calmly before he turned and walked toward his throne.

“We are safe.... They are not watching. If they dare not hurt me, then they won’t dare hurt the weakened envoys... Has that tyrant truly surrendered? Or does he need me for something?” Alex muttered as he found it strange that someone of that level would be submissive.
