314 Creed a God and Little Alex a Guardian
Alex stood in the darkness with a stern look on his face while countless thoughts ran through his mind. His eyes seemed cold and frosty as strong killing intentions exploded from his body but only for a while.
“Huff! The more power I gained the less authority I had. They keep placing those restraints on me each time I gain more strength” Alex muttered.
“Maybe restraints are not really a bad thing. Maybe it’s a way to help you focus your power on what’s more important” a voice could be heard from the darkness.
A figure emerged and it was a youth who was around eighteen or nineteen years old. His golden hair was tied into a ponytail and his golden eyes shone brightly in the darkness.
“Golden deity of the human race. Or should I call you little Alex” Alex said with a slight smile on his face.
“Don’t call me anything, both sound weird from you” Little Alex said casually with a shrug on his shoulders. He wore golden martial robes and had a golden sword hanging on his back. Right now he was already over six feet tall and had a good build.
His energy signature was enough for anyone to know he was at the earl level at such a young age.
“Restraints not a bad thing? Hmph! That’s why you don’t understand the true meaning behind the name, God” The dark-haired kid with pitch black eyes and in a black leather jacket, jeans, and boots spoke as he Levitated over.
He was barely up to five years but he had the temperament of an old man, leaving Alex helpless and speechless most times.

The hell cat deity appeared on the child’s shoulder while the silver fox appeared on Little Alex’s shoulders.

“We need to make sure if anything happens to me, you both know the roles you have to play in my absence” Alex said calmly.
“As agreed, Creed will take my place as Supreme deity and you will stand by his side as his guardian” Alex said the last part, placing his hand on Little Alex’s shoulder.
“I know I know, he inherited your black flames and I’m only golden and not even bile or white. So it’s natural he succeeds you” Little Alex said with a frustrated look but Alex held on to his face and pulled it close to his.
“That’s not the reason for any of this!” Alex said with a stern look on his face.
“You are the strongest person I know. I’m not even sure I can defend against your void powers and I respect and love you a lot. I chose you as a guardian because unlike Creed you have a heart before you became a god. He was born a god before he got a heart. Creed is who I want to be and you are who I am supposed to be” Alex said while rubbing Little Alex’s cheeks.
Creed walked over and stood beside Alex with his hand crossed. Anyone looking at this kid will refuse to believe he is just five.

Silver returned to his place and frowned when he looked at the lady in the living room, surfing through television channels. Her eyes looked lifeless and she practically didn’t care about the world anymore.

You killed him for the first time and now he chooses to be with someone else and five years later you still can’t get over it?” Silver said with a calm look on his face while gazing at Tracy. There was no trace of sympathy in his voice since all of them already believed that her behavior is just pathetic, including Little Alex.
“It should have been me standing by his side. It should be Little Alex succeeding him! But he didn’t hesitate to pass such a position to her son! Can’t you see or has he bewitched you too?” Tracy asked but Silver simply shook his head.
“You are the one who is bewitched because If you can’t see the look in his eyes when he looks at little Alex then you are the one with a problem,” Silver said and turned, leaving without hesitation.
Obsession breeds envy, hate, greed, and more and that’s why he has always kept Tracy close by. As her little brother, all he can do now is make sure she does nothing stupid. If he can do that much then he believes she still has a chance of recovering from this.

“This is not enough. We need to uproot every form of rebellion hidden within this world. We can’t afford to let anyone undermine my authority, especially with the Danites coming. If we show weakness, they will use it against us” Alex said coldly and Little Alex nodded in agreement.
“Somehow the God set found a way to escape you half a decade ago. This time I will finally put an end to them. I already have their locations. I will deal with this alone” Little Alex said hastily but Alex frowned.
Amongst those who he respects as a man, the God set has always been on the list. Although he hated them, he couldn’t deny the fact that they had the strength to back it up and that’s why he respected them.
Leaving Little Alex to deal with them would be a good test to gauge his son’s abilities but it was also very risky.
