Alex opened his eyes and felt a throbbing pain in his head. He felt his head was hit with a sledgehammer, leaving him confused and disoriented for a moment but soon all his memories began coming back and his body kept trembling badly as more memories came.

“I can’t even rest in death, what’s this now?” Alex frowned as he looked around, only to see what seemed like a massive Amazon forest but strangely there were these humongous pipes the size of skyscrapers hanging over Alex like a canopy, stretching to the ends of this world Alex was still unfamiliar with.

For him, the bright light shone bright and when it faded he had changed location but in reality, he was teleported to what seemed like an ancient colosseum.

A mechanical sound sounded but this time it wasn’t in his head but across the world. Alex’s eyes frowned at this as he looked around and soon began seeing holographic images of various beings appearing in various seats as if to see the new god!
Amongst them was a familiar golden-haired deity who claimed to be a high God. It seems like the man saw him and a slight frown appeared on his face as if the sight of Alex alone brought back memories.
“You….” Alex said under his breath but he didn’t dare move.

He felt warm as if an unknown energy was surging through his body, revealing all his secrets. Under the effect of this light, he couldn’t move. When the energy reached his chest it seemed to stop and Alex felt intense pain.

Alex spat out a mouthful of blood and fell on both knees. His face was deadly pale as the pain in his chest only worsened.

But then again every new god who manages to evolve and transcend to this world are unique figure with unique achievements in their past lives. So thinking Alex has a chance of surviving being released into the world outside the city where other defects are sent is a bit far-fetched.
He is just slightly more popular than the average god so she felt she was overthinking when she considered the possibility of him surviving.
