"What are you waiting for, attack me already! I've had my fill of tearing apart weaklings, now I want to tear apart someone who will actually fight back!" She exclaimed, her face flushed with a wide smirk.
"Hey, guys...keep the minions off me...I'll knock some sense into this bitch," Declared Rex, before suddenly zipping towards her and grabbing her by the throat and flying up through the broken part of the barrier.
Rai quickly repaired the barrier and began firing out lightning at the enemies around us, I followed suit with fireballs, the barrier deflecting the incoming Elemental Magic attacks from the enemy while our attack hit their marks every time.
Meanwhile, Rex had let go of Gela's neck before she could shred his arm with her claws, and the two of the were currently locked in a fierce close-range airborne battle. Gela drove her claws towards his face, while he evaded and countered with a high kick, his raptor claw grazing her cheek slightly.
She then fired out a wind blast from her mouth, knocking him back before he could react or dodge, before flying up higher and swooping down towards him, slashing viciously at his right side as she shot past him, leaving a deep gash there and eliciting a hiss of pain from him.
He spread his wings out wide to stabilize himself, clutching the wound with a grimace, as she rapidly flew up towards him again, this time slashing at his left shoulder as she flew past him. She spun around as she reached a high point and then swooped down towards him again, he began to counter by swinging his right hand claws up towards her, but she evaded it, slashing at his forearm as she shot past him.
Her third eye then opened as she zipped up towards him at a blinding speed, wind swirling around her claws...but this time, he was ready. As she swung her claws towards his throat, he grabbed her wrist, his skin turning dark and leathery, as his face extended out...he unleashed his True Anima Mode, in which his speed and strength was effectively tripled...he has the advantage now.
He let out a fierce roar as he raised her up and swung her down towards the ground with an immense amount of force, sending her rapidly plummeting down and slamming onto the ground with a devastating impact and a massive dust cloud bursting out along with a shockwave. And then, as the dust cleared, a weak groan echoed out from the center.
Rai and I had finished clearing up the other enemies in the area, so we began to head towards the small crater as Rex swooped down and landed in it, standing over her as she struggled to get up. She was bleeding profusely, and her left arm and both her legs were bending the wrong way. She was still alive and just barely conscious, but she won't be able to do any fighting in that state.
"Is that it? I thought you were going to tear me apart," Remarked Rex, staring down at her icily, "You know, I really thought that you-."
My throat suddenly seized up as I noticed something...noticed it too late...
"Rex, behind you-!" Rai and I began to yell in unison, but it was futile.
Before Rex could react to our warning...a large axe swung down and struck the top of his head...and sliced through him vertically in half, the two halves falling down on either side, blood pooling around them. The wielder of the axe then lifted his weapon up and swung it across, the blood on it splattering off to the side.
He had short, spiky red hair, purple eyes, and was short and muscular. He wore maroon gauntlets on his hands than went upto his elbows, a sleeveless black leather armored top and dark red leather armored trousers. He held a large double-headed axe with a long handle in his hands...
"Wow, you got messed up bad, Gela...I'm not sure how to-...oh, never mind," He remarked, as a portal opened under her and she sunk into it, disappearing.
He just...killed Rex...that bastard...I'll k-...!
"I'll ...I'll kill you!" Snapped Rai, before I could process what just happened, firing out a lightning slash from his scythe, before racing across to the left of the new enemy and flinging a blade attached to a chain at him.
He blocked with his axe, and as he brought the weapon up, Rai snapped his wrist, the chain striking the handle of the axe and wrapping around it. He let out a yell as Rai ran lightning through the chain, electrocuting him. The moment the lightning ceased, I shot towards him at top speed, as he tried to untangle the chain from his handle.
He stomped on the ground to send out a burst of rubble towards Rai as he began to charge towards him, forcing him to leap away and pull his chain back, right as I closed in, my fist drawn back and flames and wind intensely swirling around it, my body boiling with rage and fury.
"I'll tear your head off, you son of a bitch!" I yelled furiously, slamming my fist onto the right side of his face with all the strength I could generate.
His head turned sharply to the left as I struck him...but that was it. He didn't so much as stumble away when I struck him...
"Ow, that hurt...," He remarked with a frown, spitting out a speck of blood, "My turn."
In a swift, fluid motion, he turned towards me and swung-...no, more like, whipped...-his axe towards my torso with his left hand. I reacted as fast as I could, driving my knee up with as much force as I could muster, striking his right side with a resounding impact...but all I did was slow down his swing.
The axe struck my torso, and as I felt my armored plates cracking, I got sent flying back and crashing onto a building, falling into it as the wall behind me cracked severely and crumbled. No way...how does he have that much raw power? Who is he? If I hadn't slowed down his swing just then...I might have been cut it half too. Nothing has ever damaged my turtle-like armored plates to this extent before...
I don't even know if the plates will heal...I then quickly jumped away as the guy with the axe sprinted forward and leapt towards me, swinging his axe down at me with immense force, cutting into the floor as I narrowly evaded. Suddenly, Rai's chain-blade zipped past his left side, grazing his left cheek and causing him to react and turn to the left slightly.
The moment his gaze shifted, Rai sprang up silently to his right with a look of sheer rage in his eyes, before swinging his scythe towards his face. The enemy managed to just barely react, trying to get away desperately, an alarmed look on his face, before letting out a scream of pain as the tip of the scythe pierced into and slashed his right eye, blinding it.
He let out a furious yell and whipped a wild swing towards Rai, who saw it coming and just barely ducked underneath it, before firing out a powerful lightning bolt at his face, striking the enemy's left ear as he narrowly evaded taking the full brunt of the blast.
"Tch, you little bastard!" He exclaimed, swinging his foot out towards Rai.
Rai sprang back and crossed his arms in front of himself defensively, along with activating a defensive barrier in front of himself, but the enemy's foot tore through it like paper and slammed onto Rai's crossed forearms, sending him flying back and crashing through two walls.
"Damn it...who the hell are you!?" I growled, standing up and swirling flames and wind around my fists.
"I've got nothing to say to a dead man," He replied, swinging his axe at me as I leapt out of the building and back outside, before using Flight to get some upwards distance.
Seriously, who the hell is this guy...he's incredibly strong and he's fairly fast too, but it doesn't look like he has any monster power ups...and I don't think he's even used any magic yet. Still, so long as I'm airborne, I should be s-...before I could even finish that thought, I was proven wrong in an instant, as he suddenly leapt up and was right beside me, his axe raised up high with his right hand.
Before he could swing it down at me, I blasted out flames towards his arm and began to fly away, but he swiftly countered by quickly dropping his right arm to get it out of the way of my flames and driving his left fist towards me. I formed a defensive wall of swirling wind in front of my torso, as his fist struck my midsection and sent me flying down towards the ground at an alarming speed...
I let out a gasp of pain and coughed out blood as my back struck the ground with immense force, rattling my entire body and nearly knocking me out. I could feel that several of my bones were fractured, I was in a lot of pain...
As he dropped back down towards me, he raised his axe with both hands, a triumphant look on his face as he started to swing it down towards me...damn it, is this it for me? I...I don't think I have the strength to dodge this...

Right as he closed in and began to swing his axe down at me, a massive ice hammer came rapidly barreling towards him, striking him from behind and knocking him away, sending him crashing onto a building, before cracking and shattering. The air was cold, and frost was appearing on the ground and surrounding buildings...Az, huh?
"Hey, you alright?" He inquired, stepping up next to me, an icy glare in his eyes, "I see that Rex is dead...is he the one who killed him?"
The enemy was already getting up...damn it, looks like that didn't do much damage.
"Yeah...he's the one."
"I see...then I'll shatter him into a thousand pieces."
