Chapter 126 - Tetra-Elemental Innate Talent.

Soon, everyone finished their meals but the only one unsatisfied was MJ, even after eating a cake that was bigger than his size.

So, Jay paid for five more chocolate cakes and several ice cream packs to be delivered to his home address for MJ to gobble them up whenever he wished.

The restaurant manager was bewildered because just the cost of the cakes and ice creams they ordered were nearly ten times that of their lunch bill. It was equal to 6 months of his salary combined.

After confirming it once again with Jay if he really wanted to buy them all at once, he thought to himself, 'Things that rich people do are really unfathomable.'

Following that, they all exited the restaurant and the Entertainment Journalist was waiting for them nearby with a camera in hand, hiding in a corner.

As soon as he saw them, he tried to take pictures but just then, Qew noticed the hidden photographer obstructed his view of Kay by standing in between before giving him a dead stare, scaring the hell out of him.

'Is this the scary woman my girlfriend reminded me of? How the hell did she even find me so quickly and why is she looking at me like I was her blood enemy?' He thought with a gulp and didn't dare to go closer nor take any more pictures.

Soon, all of them got into the cars and Qew managed to get Olivia and Sergei into her car, successfully separating Kay from Olivia.

Just as she was about to get in her car, she gave a smug smile to Jay and communicated through thoughts, 'Hehe! How is it? Look at how easily I ruined your plan.'

For that, Jay replied with a smirk, 'We will see about that.'

Taken aback by Jay's confidence, Qew wondered if she really did succeed in preventing Jay's plan.

Soon, they all left and the sneaky waitress's boyfriend came out from hiding and muttered, "Uff, that was oddly exhausting. I am a Journalist for god's sake. Why am I even taking pictures sneakily like a Paparazzi? Anyway, I should see how the pictures came out to be."

Before being scared away by Qew, he quickly took three pictures.

When he was taking those pictures, he focussed on Kay but other people were also in his camera frame, especially Qew, who blocked his line of view with Kay.

However, he still clicked them, to try his luck. But now after going through those pictures, he couldn't help but doubt his eyes because there was only two people visible in them, Kay and Olivia.

For a few seconds, he doubted his eyes but after realising that the pictures came out much better than he expected them to be, the Journalist joyously laughed to himself.

After all, what's spicier news than having the recently trending 'prince charming', who was thirsted over by females to be seen together with a woman at a restaurant.

Qew wasn't aware that Jay already knew what she was planning to do and had MJ remove everyone in those photos except for Kay and Olivia.

If Qew had known about that, she would have even chased after that Journalist until he deleted those pictures.

Unaware of that, she was chatting away with Olivia in her car.

Unlike what Jay's father asked of him, Jay didn't take Olivia and Sergei to see nearby famous places in India and instead took them to the Deep Underground Secret Base.

There, he instructed Kay and Qew to show them around before taking Olivia and Sergei to the training facilities so that they could train or prepare for the upcoming tournament.

Jay then separated from them and went to his personal training room before activating Qew's third Innate Exclusive skill, <Innate Talent Convergence>.

While he was in the meeting itself, that skill's cooldown ended but he waited till then to use it.

The convergence process lasted a minute before a set of notifications filled his vision.

[You have successfully converged Grade-3 <Wind Innate Talent> and Grade-5 <Tri-Elemental Innate Talent>, creating a Grade-5 <Tetra-Elemental Innate Talent>.]

[<Innate Talent Convergence> enters a 24-hour cooldown until it can be usable again.]

[Congratulations! You are the 1st Existence in the Entire Universe to combine four elements into one, creating a Tetra-Element, 'Thunder Flame' while just being in Tier-2.]

[Due to causing a Universe Level Achievement, you will receive a random grade reward that will be most useful to you at the present moment. The Grade of the reward depends on your Luck Attribute.]

[Current Universe Points: 9600.]

[You don't have enough Universe Points to exchange for the weapon you wished for, and till the request proceeds, the Universe Points will be pooled together to satisfy the exchange value for the weapon (Origin Glaive) you wished for.]

[Grade-5 <Tetra-Elemental Innate Talent> (Fire, Water, Wind & Lightning) (Elemental Category):

Gives Host the ability to comprehend the 'Thunder Flame' Element without losing the ability to individually manipulate Fire, Water, Wind and Lightning elements along with their respective skills. Increases its comprehension speed by five-fold.]

With the addition of the Wind element, the 'Lightning Flame' turned into 'Thunder Flame'.

Jay knew it wasn't just a slight difference because Thunder is the higher element of Lightning and 'Thunder Flame' basically is the combination of two top higher elements into one.

He then conjured the new element over his palm and its glow illuminated the entire training room.

It wasn't like the Lightning Flame that was purple with red flashes. Instead, it was violet with dark-violet sparks rumbling over it, making sharp noises.

He then tested it on the training dummies MJ prepared for him, which could even sustain the blast damage of short-range ballistic missiles.

But, upon colliding with a basic attack of Thunder Flame, the training dummy was blasted apart without any resemblance to its previous appearance.

It proved that the new element's attack power was notch above the 'Lightning Flame' along with it's increased attack speed.

Soon after he tested its power out, another series of notifications followed up.

[Congratulations! You have gained Lv.1<Minor Thunder Flame Mastery> (Stage-1)]

[Lv.1<Minor Thunder Flame Mastery>: Lv.1 Thunder Flame-element training methods will be transmitted into your mind.]

[Your Lv.30<Minor Wind Mastery> is compatible with Lv.1<Minor Thunder Flame Mastery>, do you wish to merge them?]

Jay accepted it right away as usual.

[Lv.30<Minor Wind Mastery> + Lv.10<Minor Thunder Flame Mastery> = Lv.15<Minor Thunder Flame Mastery>]

[Congratulations! You have gained Lv.15<Minor Thunder Flame Mastery> (Stage-2)]

[Lv.15<Minor Thunder Flame Mastery>: Lv.15 Thunder Flame-element training methods will be transmitted into your mind.]

The relevant knowledge from <Lv.1 Minor Thunder Flame Mastery> to <Lv.15 Minor Thunder Flame Mastery> surged into his mind, improving his understanding of the Thunder Flame with better and efficient ways to use it.

For the next half an hour, Jay experimented with the Thunder Flame element until he exhausted his Spirit Energy reserve before giving a break.

While taking a breath from the exhaustion, he thought about the Universe Points he had at that moment, which amounted to 9600.

Even though a category of Universe Level Achievement has 1000 ranks, not everyone would receive an equal amount of Universe Points.

Those who score 101st to 1000th rank in any Universe Level Achievement would receive 10 Universe Points.

From 11th to 100th place, it was 100 points and for the first ten ranks, 1st to 10th, it was a whopping 1000 points.

The convergence of Thunder Flame gave Jay a Universe Level Achievement and since he was the first life form to do that, he received 1000 Universe Points from that, like every other time he converged a new element.

Jay really wished 10,000 Universe Points would be enough to exchange for the Origin Glaive of his Innate Talent's previous owner.

If that were really to be the case, he would just need 400 more Universe Points to obtain the Weapon he was longing for.

Once Jay converges another element with the Thunder Flame, forming a Penta Element and creating another Universe Level Achievement, it would meet the Universe Points requirement.

But this was all under the assumption that the Origin Glaive could be exchanged for 10,000 points.

Since he could only wait to find out about it, he didn't bother storming his brain around it and took out all of his Spirit Equipment before passing them to have MJ restore their durability.

After all, any Spirit Equipment only has 100 points of durability.

Even though the rate at which the durability decreases would differ depending on the grade of that equipment, at the end, they all have a limited amount of durability and not even his growth-type equipment, <Centauri Kavach> was an exception to it.

Any trial zone that doesn't have someone with Spirit Energy Engineering expertise would have to go through the trouble of having to helplessly watch their Spirit Equipment deteriorate before breaking apart eventually.

Luckily, Earth's Alpha Chosen has MJ, who was pretty good at it.

With the tournament around the corner, Jay gave the other Earth's Alpha Chosen a discount, where they use just a single RP to have each of their Equipment's durability restored, instead of the usual 10 RPs per equipment.

After Jay refilled his Spirit Energy reserve using Spirit Crystals, he got back to experiment with Thunder Flame to be accustomed to it and find more diverse ways it could be in a fight. That way, Jay prepared himself for Day-10's tournament.
