At this rate, her twins might've just moved in here permanently rather than going back to the main house at all.
Tang Moyu closed her laptop and leaned against the couch where she sat. She rubbed her temple and took a deep breath.
"We stumbled into a secret that may affect Tianxin and Luo Luo's safety in the future." She said in a low voice.
Feng Tianyi stopped his wheelchair next to her armrest.
"How so?" He asked curiously. "Is this about Ye Xiaozu again? Is he Luo Luo's father?"
Tang Moyu chewed her lower lip and shook her head. Turns out even Feng Tianyi thought that Luo Luo was Ye Xiaozu's son?
"How can you tell?" She arched a brow, hoping he would explain how he came to that conclusion.
"It's not that hard to suspect that Lu Ziluo has the Ye blood running through his veins. Although the boy has Lu Tianxin's coloring, his facial features and the color of his eyes definitely didn't come from her." Feng Tianyi crossed his arms over his chest and Tang Moyu could see the gears in his mind turning as he thought about it. "Did I get it right or is there something else?"
Tang Moyu gave him a vague smile and shook her head.
"Both. You are right and wrong at the same time." She then proceeded to give Feng Tianyi a short narrative of what happened between Ye Yimei and her cousin in the past.
Feng Tianyi frowned and remained silent for a moment. Lu Tianxin's situation was really messy.
"I'm not sure of the exact relationship Tianxin had with Ye Xiaozu, cause she hasn't told us anything about the two of them, but there's definitely a history between them, that much I can tell." Tang Moyu continued. "I'm worried for Tianxin and Luo Luo. I'm thinking of pulling her out of the project and oversee it myself."
"Wouldn't that make Ye Xiaozu suspicious? If Lu Tianxin suddenly dropped the project without giving a valid reason, he might get ideas that she is hiding something from him."
"So should I just let her proceed with the project? Wouldn't that bring more issues between them, considering he's also engaged with another woman right now?"
Feng Tianyi chuckled at that. His hand reached out and softly played with some of her long locks. The empress only allowed her long hair to be freed from its ties whenever she was home.
"Moyu, they are old enough to be responsible for their own choices. If they wanted to get back together, it would be their choice, not ours. But if Lu Tianxin really wanted to avoid causing more problems, she would need to stick to being professional and avoid giving Ye Xiaozu any reason to pursue her."
The devil had a point, however, Tang Moyu would rather be on the safe side and reduce the chances of Lu Tianxin getting tangled up in a conflict with Ye Xiaozu at this critical time. It's not only for the sake of the company, but for Luo Luo's safety as well.
"I'm glad that you are looking after the two of them. I can't imagine how hard it was for Lu Tianxin to raise someone else's child, sacrificing her own life for it."

Just like how the empress came with them to Beijing to retrieve Gu Yuyao. She could have just left the task to him and He Lianchen, but she insisted on tagging along because Gu Yuyao needed her.
