So today, he started his day at work, finishing the tasks that were waiting for him to complete. He didn't spare time to laze around and catch up with his office mates, intending to finish everything before the day ended.

As for Feng Tianyi… Tang Moyu couldn't seem to stop the blush that appeared on her cheeks. Why was she blushing like a teenage girl anyway? Wasn't she already an adult? A grown up woman?
While she admitted that she enjoyed his company and had gotten used to the stolen kisses between them as well as being held by him, the empress still wasn't ready to have sex with him. Not only was she afraid that he would hurt himself, but she also didn't think it was the right time.

This was why everyone at Tang Enterprise was nervous as the empress and Lu Tianxin made their rounds. She let the department heads report the issues and the struggles their team was facing so Tang Moyu and Lu Tianxin would be able to consider solutions for them.
Tang Moyu remained silent throughout the sessions and let her cousin answer for her. Since Lu Tianxin had already voiced her opinion over the matter, she didn't need to say more as they were practically on the same page.
"Everyone did a great job." Tang Moyu said, taking everyone's attention. We were able to save most of our deals and finish major projects that have been stalling for ages. Thank you for your hard work. This success wouldn't be possible if it weren't for all of you." She then gave them a courtesy bow to show her sincerity, catching everyone off guard, including Lu Tianxin.
"Please expect a bonus with your next salary." Tang Moyu ended her speech and gestured to the department head to talk for a minute.
The whole marketing and finance teams rejoiced and celebrated after their CEO's announcement, since they were the ones who had been tested to the limit for the past few months since Tang Moyu took over the management from her cousin.
Everyone was excited to finish their work and planned their celebration for later. Since Tang Enterprise had successfully finished the project for the Ye Corporation, their endless overtime hours at work had finally paid off.
"Moyu, are you sure it's alright? It's not that I'm against giving everyone a bonus, but…" Lu Tianxin asked her.
"It's fine, Tianxin. Yaoyao and I have already allocated enough funds for it. When employees spend a majority of their waking hours in the workplace, they need more than a paycheck to satisfy them." Tang Moyu started.
"Using their talents, engaging them in challenging projects, offering incentives, and creating a friendly and respectful environment with low stress are among the reasons our staff will be glad to show up each day to contribute to the company's ultimate success. It would be a pity if we lost talented employees just because we're being ungrateful."
Lu Tianxin might not be able to understand it now, but for Tang Moyu and Gu Yuyao who had been working in the industry for years, they definitely knew better.
While the pay may not always be an employee's prime reason for job satisfaction, it doesn't hurt. Incentives often help employees overcome poor attitude towards other, less enjoyable areas of their work. Tang Moyu nodded her head and grabbed her car keys from her handbag. Gu Yuyao had asked her for a favor, to bring the brochures back to Li Meili, who lent it to her during their last meeting.
It was already seven in the evening when she reached Li Meili's boutique. She alighted her car and locked it behind her, walking towards her friend's office.
However, even before she reached the staircase leading to it, her steps faltered when she saw her friend in a liplock with her younger brother.
"Beixuan? Meili? What's going on?"
