"So you know…" How did he find out anyway? She didn't think that Lan Xiyan would come clean to her brother after all the things she had done to hurt him.
"I was trying to protect you, Fengyan. She accepted the money. Don't you think that says a lot about her as a person?" She countered him.
"But you knew about her situation." Song Fengyan gritted his teeth in frustration. "You knew how badly she needed money for her father's surgery."
Song Xingji leaned her back on her seat and crossed her legs. She was already thirty-seven now, but her face looked so young, she could pass as a woman in her late twenties. She had light brown hair that reached her chest and a body that's smaller compared to her colleagues.
