It annoyed Su Jingyi that even after she talked to Chairman Yun, Yun Zhen hadn't uttered a single word towards her. Would it kill him to say something to her right now? Why was he acting like this?

"It's not like that, Su Jingyi. Of course, I don't want you to leave." He said once he recovered from his shock. The look of surprise and desperation swirling in his eyes immediately vanished.
Su Jinyi pressed her lips together and looked away. She knew that he wasn't okay with her decision to resign, but hearing him say those words made her feel uneasy. However, she had to remind herself repeatedly that this was for her own good, that nothing good would come if she continued to vie for his attention.
"So you couldn't think of any reason to keep me here except for marriage, huh?" She said, making the atmosphere more awkward than it already was. Yun Zhen lowered his eyes as his steps halted, leaving him standing behind Su Jingyi. When Su Jingyi didn't hear his footsteps, she turned around to face him. He looked conflicted and confused at the same time. What he was up to?
