Zhang Jiren didn't bother to resume his nap once Tang Moyu left. He remained seated quietly next to the cot where Leyan was, making sure he would be able to tend to her while Li Meili slept. Li Meili's face still lacked the healthy color it usually had, making her husband wonder if she's really going to be fine.
It had been a long day for the three of them. He and Li Meili had been too exhausted since Leyan arrived. As the mother and child slept, Zhang Jiren took the chance to check his mail and delivered his instructions to his managers that were left overseeing the company while he was gone.

"Moyu and I decided to limit our interaction with Li Meili. This is to make sure that nothing would happen to her and Leyan. Would you be able to manage?" Feng Tianyi asked.
"Meili said that she would be staying at home for a month, so I don't think there's a problem with it," he replied, knowing full well why the couple decided to limit their interactions.

"If there's anything else you want to tell us, can you at least reach us through Li Meili's number?"
