The so-called next CEO of Feng Conglomerate woke up from her long nap and saw that it was late in the evening. Although she wasn't pregnant anymore, the tiredness she felt was like when she worked nonstop to reach the deadline of her task.

Right now, she didn't have an ounce of strength left to leave the bed and find something to eat. Tang Moyu felt her husband lay down on the bed with her and hugged her from behind. She wasn't sure what time he came back from work.

Tonight was a cold night and she enjoyed the warmth of her husband as he held her close. There was nowhere she would rather be but to be here, next to him.

"Did I wake you up?" she heard Feng Tianyi ask. She rolled on her side to face him and smiled weakly.

"No," she said and rubbed her sleepy eyes.

"You've missed dinner again. Are you hungry?" Feng Tianyi asked before kissing her temple.

"Sorry. I was just exhausted. Yuan wouldn't stop crying this afternoon." She sighed and sat up, running her fingers through her thick mane. Her long black hair flowed on her back like a waterfall.

Tang Moyu had given birth three months ago to their youngest child, and he was proven more handful than his elder siblings. Feng Yuan wanted his mother's undivided attention and refused to be parted with her. He was worse than Little Star when it came for being demanding.

"Don't worry. I already tucked the twins to bed and fed Yuan. He's now asleep in his cot."

Now at three months old, Feng Yuan was now able to sleep through the night without waking up his parents in ungodly hours. This also meant that Tang Moyu would be able to return to work soon.

"How's your day?" Tang Moyu didn't forget to ask her husband. Since Feng Tianyi took over most of her work at Xiao Xing while balancing his responsibilities at Qing Tian Group, she knew how hard and busy her husband was in the past months.

"Everything went as you planned. The shareholders decided to replace the board and install you as the new CEO. Are you sure about this, Moyu?"

If it were in the past, he would feel inferior next to his wife. But after years of being married to Tang Moyu, Feng Tianyi understood her better now. They were partners and they would deal with problems one at a time as a team.

"It's your birthright. The position of the CEO should be yours. Since we managed to buy back the shares your father sold to others before, we are able to make sure that the Feng family wouldn't lose the company to others."

What she had done was nothing compared to the things Feng Tianyi did for her sake. For the past months, she had witnessed how he pushed himself to his limit.

With his busy schedule at work, Feng Tianyi was trying to be everywhere, but still making sure he wouldn't miss spending quality time with his family. She had never thought that she would ever meet a man who was completely in sync with her— someone who wouldn't get tired of her.

"Come on, I'll prepare something for you to eat." Feng Tianyi gestured for her to follow him to get late dinner and Tang Moyu easily yielded.

When they passed the nursery room, their youngest child was still peacefully asleep in his cot. Even their twins were snoring in their beds, unaware that their mother was finally awake from her nap.

"Do you want anything in particular to eat?" Feng Tianyi asked as he checked the fridge for the ingredients he needed.

"I'll have what you had for dinner earlier. You don't need to bother yourself, Tianyi," Tang Moyu said as she took a seat while her husband worked in the kitchen.

Feng Tianyi momentarily stopped and smiled before nodding. It wasn't long before Tang Moyu had a tray full of hearty dishes just for her. As usual, her husband knew her taste and preference. Since she had been trying to lose weight, Tang Moyu had been watching her calorie intake strictly.

"So.... how did it go?" Tang Moyu picked up her fork and started to eat while Feng Tianyi poured her a glass of water.

"Just as you predicted, everyone agreed to replace the board," he answered her.

"If we were a little too late, Tianyi, I'm sure we wouldn't be able to save the company."

Feng Tianyi fell silent at that. He'd been worried these past weeks that they wouldn't be able to acquire enough stocks to oust his younger brother. With the debt continuing to balloon over 1.2 billion dollars, he was afraid that it would be too late for him to save the company.

"But the debt—" he started but was immediately cut off by his wife.

"Will be settled in no time." Tang Moyu smiled at him, leaning forward to kiss his cheek. Of course, she already considered this problem.

"You are worrying too much," she added.

Feng Tianyi sighed dejectedly. Was he really that obvious? Well, it wasn't like he was trying to hide it from Tang Moyu. The time was limited and the company was already in a crucial state, so how could he not worry?

"I can't help it. It wasn't easy for me to watch Tianhua make mistakes one after another. He was practically digging a grave not only for himself but also for the company," he admitted.

Tang Moyu finished her meal, gave the dirty dishes a quick rinse on the sink before placing them in the dishwasher. She dragged her husband upstairs, opening the study room where the business plan she formulated was.

The room was dimly lit but Feng Tianyi could see the large portrait of their wedding photo hanging on the wall, alongside their family photo with the twins.

Feng Tianyi scanned the contents of the doc.u.ments and was impressed by how meticulous to detail his wife was. He had never met a person as efficient as Tang Moyu. No wonder many companies tried to poach her when she left Feng Conglomerate and Tang Enterprise.

Feng Tianhua might be able to obstruct her way, but there were still people out there who acknowledged the empress's prowess when it came to managing businesses.

Now that he'd seen his wife's strategic plan, Feng Tianyi could finally be at ease.

"By the way, Moyu, are you sure you still want to meet Zhang Wuying? I don't see why there's a need to see her," he asked Tang Moyu.
