Psychke, who had parted ways with Aiden, walked and ran, entering a narrow side road.

Ensuring that no one was around, she took her robe from her magic pocket, obscured the clothes she was wearing a while ago. She then twirled the turquoise jewel three times to change her appearance.

Her silver hair, which was reaching her waist had been shortened up to the nape of her neck. Her supposedly blue as sapphires eyes, were changed into a turquoise light like jewels.

Apparently, because of it, her eyes and impression were changed likely a man.

I used this magic because I don’t want to be recognized as a woman. I had no idea I would use it this way though.

Having finished her preparations, she headed straight to the auction house outside the capital.

The three-story building belonged to the imperial family, but even though it was located on the outskirts of the palace, it was still luxurious.

In order to open an illegal action on imperial property, one must put a loan.

She looked at the back of the building, not the entrance, thinking that she had prepared enough.

Then she approached the passerby man resting against the wall and whispered in secret.

“Peilas Astania.”

It was honestly an entry code for this illegal auction found out by Lenox , while he was fixing the incident that happened in the past.

She shrugged her shoulders to the man who glanced at her.

Psychke was talking to him regardless.

“May your breath dwell in the stars in the night sky.”

“From a royal family?”

Frowning her brows, the guide asked her.

It appeared that she has silver hair which represents Silkisia. And those who came here would have to change their appearances, therefore the guards will always check them.

It is to check whether the one will buy is a middle-aged person, or an aristocrat who was money to actually buy the auction times later.

Psychke looked up and raised her hand with her bracelet on. There was no family crest, but at a glance, the guide nodded at a bracelet that could only be worn by high-ranking nobles.

“That way.”

He pointed to a dead-end road.

She followed what she had been instructed. Then, after seemingly a solid wall which was about to fall down, there revealed a hidden entrance space for the auction house.

Psychke went inside.

There was no one in the lobby, which was decorated with all kinds of jewels for the high-ranking nobles. It was just gloomy inside.

It seemed that the auction had already begun, as a lot of time had passed with Yzhar and Aiden’s affairs.

‘Is the Duke already here?’

Psyckhe went down on the red carpeted underground stairs and traced Verndia’s location through the engagement ring hidden under her leather gloves.

He was in the same direction, near her.

He appears to be moving in a dash, which she concluded that he has yet to find the necklace. He was rather sneaking, then looking for it publicly.

‘You haven’t found it yet.’

A man with good information lime him, could not have come without any countermeasures, and at least he would have brought a clue where the necklace was.

She can go right to where he is, but she’s in trouble if she run into him and blame her for his failure.

She waited until Verndia sees the guards, before deciding to move.

‘The position of the guards are……’

The illegal auction house was reminiscent of a small Colosseum arena.

As soon as Psychke entered, she checked the positions of the guards first.

There were guards to the left and right doorways where customers come and go, and to the small entrance where the auction items will enter and exit.

Judging by the aura she could feel, Verndia was keeping his eyes keen.

Is it true that he sneaked in? Verndia’s presence was being detected inside the auction house, where only officials could enter.

She took a seat in the empty seat, paying attention to his actions one by one. There were few empty seats among the seats that can be occupied with a hundred of people.

‘There are more people than I thought.’

She initially thought that there would be a few.

Thinking so, Psychke glanced at the person sitting next to her.

He was wearing somewhat like a mask, which covered his entire head, therefore, recognizing him a man or a woman in impossible.

But the moment she looked at the knee of that person, she knew who he was.

It was because of the pink fan that shone brightly as if it had been shredded with jewels.

Psychke was momentarily speechless.

‘…Hilvia?’

Don’t you think that fan represents you?

It was crazy, but I thought it was a possibility.

In a place like this, it is an unwritten rule to pretend that you do not know who the other person is, so no one would have been able to tell your identity too. Don’t carry a fan next time.

“So, now! Who will be the owner of this wonderful thing? Let’s start with 300,000 gold!”

She turned her head to the loud yell she heard suddenly.

In the middle of the Colosseum.

On the podium placed in the lowest place, the host wearing a funny hat was looking around exaggeratedly.

Beside him, a bird whose feathers fluttered in rainbow colors as if released from paint was trapped in a cage.

Psychke recognized at a glance that it was a rare animal smuggled from a distant country.

“300,000!”

The person sitting opposite Psychke lifted the picket.

Then, as if not to lose, Hilvia quickly raised a picket and shouted.

“400,000!”

That bid was enough for ten commoners to have a one year’s food.

As she was about to stick her tongue inside her, someone else called for a higher amount.

“500,000!”

After several fights, the bird was sold to Hilvia for 1 million gold.

“- This product starts from 500,000 gold!”

Then came to her sight was the Blue Diamond. A bouquet of flowers made of jewels.

All those luxurious and splendid items were sold to Hilvia.

‘Goodness. What in the world?’
