Chapter 484: Doubts
A startled expression appeared on Charles's face as he heard that voice.

But what startled him deeply was that he heard two different kinds of voices.
"I'm trapped... Eternal... Demon!... Find the... remnant shards and-!"
Before the creepy voice could end, it stopped for a moment and soon continued.
"-Release me! I'll... forever... in debt... you."
Charles frowned as he heard those voices and listened to other unique waves. Unfortunately, all he heard was the same recorded voice in the form of knowledge power.
'Eternal Demon? The 'Nightmare' is not a Devil but a Demon? Moreover, whose voice is that? Is it the former Pope's voice? Does that mean he didn't die but got sealed himself along with the 'Nightmare' being? Or, this 'Nightmare' being is trying to trick me into releasing it?' After pondering for a while, Charles sighed deeply and thought of gathering more information about the Crown of Hell and its shards.
'Well, my goal is also the same anyway. As long as I gain access to the Secret Chamber, there is nothing else for me to lose.'
He used the same divination methods for the next few hours and searched for the remaining Shards locations.

It was a vague feeling which made him unsettle inside.
While in confusion, his [Forewarning] skill triggered on its own and showed him a glimpse of a faraway future image.
In that image, he saw that a terrifying blackish serpent descended from the cloudy sky and seemed to be hissing at him!
The winged serpent appeared similar to what he saw in Dream World, but it had two heads instead of one.
'A future warning? Tsk, an omnipotent Light God, Evil God, Avatar of the Evil God, Fallen Angel, Eternal Demon, and finally, the Nightmare Devil. I'm starting to suspect that all these titles belong to a single entity.'

When the Nightmare Being, aka the corrupted Angel, came to this mortal world, the Pope of that time confronted it and even managed to seal it in some mysterious box... "I have a job for you." Charles paused for a moment as he looked at the incarnation, gave the letter to him, and continued.
"Go to the Azov Kingdom's capital and look for Irzoch in the mentioned address. I have a vague feeling that she might get herself killed if she goes after that Deceivers Organization member without any protection. Even the Demon Sorcerer Nash was powerful enough to stand equally against me in battle; so, I think this guy might also have something up in his sleeves like the coin necklace artifact."
Saying so, he took out the strange talisman coin necklace from his space ring and gave it to him.
"Give this artifact to her for protection. I also added this artifact's abilities and side effects in the letter. So, tell her to use it cautiously." He added.
