For the entire afternoon, Xia Ning, Lin Nan, and Zeng Jun were discussing the scripts and did not even have time for lunch.
When they got out of Zeng Jun’s house, it was already five o’clock.
In the garage, Lin Nan opened the car door and said to Xia Ning who was also opening the door, “What about dinner together?”
Xia Ning turned around to Lin Nan and smiled. “Sure. Just in case Brother Lin mentions this to me every day and gets worried about me forgetting about it.”
Lin Nan heard and chuckled. “Of course. Otherwise, once you are famous, I don’t think I will have my spot in the queue.”
“Of course not. Being able to dine with Movie King Lin is my honor,” Xia Ning said with a smile. “You can pick a place and I will follow your car.”
“Sure.”
The two got in their cars and drove out of the garage.
Lin Nan picked a local restaurant in the city center. After they parked the cars, both of them put on some disguise and walked in separately.
The room was booked before and the dishes were picked by Lin Nan beforehand as well.
Xia Ning smiled at Lin Nan across the table and said, “Looks like Brother Lin has prepared everything. If I did not come with you tonight, was Brother Lin planning to come by yourself?”
“I thought you’d come!” Lin Nan stood up and poured some tea for Xia Ning, as well as for him.
Xia Ning held the teacup and raised it to Lin Nan. “Thank you, Brother Lin, for your consideration in advance.”
“No need to mention it.” Lin Nan raised his cup and looked at Xia Ning with a smile. “You are brilliant enough. All you need is an opportunity to be famous.”
Xia Ning took back her smile. “Many people are brilliant enough but just missing this kind of opportunity. That’s why they are buried.”
“You are right about this.” Lin Nan nodded and frowned a little. “I used to know a senior who had very good acting skills but didn’t have an opportunity. In the end…” As he spoke, he went into silence.

The man walked in front of the group. The handsome face was a bit cold like usual and the haute couture suit outlined his perfect body. His entire body was as noble as a king. The others next to him were following him and trying to say something to him. His eyes fell onto Xia Ning all of a sudden.
