It appeared to be an elegant yet simple jade pendant.
Jian Yiling didn’t pick up the jade pendant right away. Instead, she looked at Zhai Yunsheng with a puzzled expression.
It wasn’t Christmas, nor was it her birthday. Why was she receiving a gift?
Zhai Yunsheng tried to explain rather casually: “We haven’t seen each other in three years. It’s just a greeting gift.”
Upon hearing this, Jian Yiling still didn’t reach out to accept the gift.
Zhai Yunsheng leaned back lazily in his chair: “It’s not something that’s valuable. It’s just a gift from me. You have to wear it properly. Just consider it as a punishment for breaking your promise.”
