His gray eyes began to take on a more black hue as soon as he cast the skill, and the veins at the corners of his eyes bulged.

He said as he focused on the walls of his home. However, what he was really focusing on were the red silhouettes of the people far away, not the walls themselves.
Normally, the skill's ability to see up to a maximum of 140 meters has already been enhanced by being a stamina base and Raydon's high stamina.
''I don't think it's just because it's a stamina base that I can see people this far away; I guess ash-type mana really supports death-type skills,'' Raydon stated, his gaze fixed on the farthest red silhouette he could see.
According to his calculations, he could see living beings nearly 400 meters ahead. He would likely be able to see from about 200 meters away with just the support of his stamina stat, but with the help of ash-type mana, this had increased to about 400 meters. This realization made Raydon sigh with joy.
He said, "It seems like this skill gives me a very good bloodlust," as he studied the silhouettes and fought off the growing urge to kill them.
He then deactivated the ''Despise'' skill and wanted to see if it also supported fire-type skills by activating the ''Flame Burst'' skill, but he gave up after some consideration because he didn't want to blow up his house by using this skill.
''Anyway, I can check that later during the match,'' He said, realizing that his next match was only a few hours away.
''Hmm, I just realized I hadn't eaten anything in a long time.'' Raydon suddenly felt hungry and decided to go to the buffet for a sandwich before going to bed and resting, as he always did before a match.
He had a bag in his hand when he returned home, and this time he had three times the usual amount of sandwiches. He became even more hungry after going without food for a while.
He grabbed a cheese sandwich from the bag and bit into it while sitting on his bed.
''Blearghh. ''
He immediately felt extremely nauseous after chewing and swallowing, and he then puked.
''Is the sandwich spoiled? But the taste was normal. '' As he wiped his mouth with the napkin, Raydon looked at the sandwich and saw that the bread and cheese appeared to be fine.
Not knowing what the issue was, he threw away the sandwich from which he had taken a bite and reached for another.
''I hope the ham isn't spoiled as well.'' His hunger had increased after he had just vomited up the sandwich. After confirming that the ham sandwich smelled and looked fine, he took a bite and said,
''This tastes good…Blearrghh… ''
And as soon as he swallowed it, he began to vomit once more.
"What the hell is going on?" Angering at his growing hunger, Raydon grabbed a different kind of sandwich than cheese and ham and bit it again.
''Blerrghh… ''

After vomiting the last sandwich onto the floor, he dropped to his knees, clasped his hands around his head, and yelled.
''Why is this happening?! Am I now allergic to sandwiches?''
Raydon began to starve more and more after each vomiting. Even though he was starving, the fact that he couldn't eat the sandwiches in front of him made him angry.
''What exactly is wrong with these sandwiches?''
He was trying to figure out why he was throwing up the sandwiches when he suddenly looked up, his eyes glowing as if he had found the problem.
''Wait…When was the last time I ate something?''
The last time he had eaten was two days prior to using the body enchantment Ashen Heart, and he had puked right after.
When Raydon realized why, he said it with a sigh. ''This must be one of the side effects of this body enchantment, huh? ''

What if I devour human flesh as a ghoul would? No, no, I already read that in a novel; mine must be more original. ''
Raydon kept thinking, not even realizing that he was talking nonsense because he was starving, until he realized hours had already passed with the system's message.

He wanted to find a solution to his hunger problem before the match, but the excitement of the adventure made him forget about his hunger, even if only for a moment.
