The zombie was taken aback when he saw Raydon confidently waiting for his strongest attack. In fact, what Raydon had just said made sense to him. He could only use this item once a month, and despite having it for three years, he could only progress to the first tomb.
As he did not trust anyone, he did not feel comfortable asking for assistance. If word got out that he was in possession of this item, others might try to take it from him by any means necessary, including a sneak attack. So it might be a good idea for him to try his luck with Raydon while he's already here.
''I accept your offer. We'll work together as a team if you can withstand this attack. If you cannot endure it regardless, you are too weak to assist me. ''
The zombie uttered and readied his most powerful attack. He was determined not to hold back in this attack because he needed to express his rage against Raydon in some way. He may even be pleased if he dies as a result of this assault.
As the zombie readied himself a green mucus-like substance began to accumulate on his head, chest, arms, and legs, and it soon hardened into what appeared to be green armor.
'He didn't chant the name of the skill? ' When Raydon saw the body armor on the zombie he questioned.
The zombie reached into his dimensional storage and retrieved a massive ax with a head nearly as big as himself. The ax's handle was over a meter long and made of red wood, while the blade was a sharp metallic gray with what appeared to be red bloodstains embroidered on it.
''Now prepare yourself. ''
When Zombie noticed Raydon still standing by with his arms wide open and doing nothing, he grumbled. By placing the ax on his shoulder, he assumed the attack position and used his second skill.
''Decompose. ''
The head of the ax began to puff out yellowish steam, and Zombie leaped at him, smashing the ax into his helpless-looking body with incredible speed.
*Bamm*
Raydon's body was thrown backwards with a jolt from the impact of the blow.
*Creack*
Only after a few meters was Raydon's backward-flying body stopped when it slammed into the dry tree trunk and split it in two.
After his attack, the zombie rested his massive ax on his shoulder and regarded Raydon's still healthy body that was lying inside the tree's broken trunk.
'Tch, he was right. What kind of defense is that? ' Astonished, the zombie muttered.
Raydon slowly started to emerge from the tree's trunk. His jacket appeared to have been ripped open in the front, and a yellow liquid was oozing out of a faint cut in his chest that ran from his left shoulder to his right hip.
'What the fuck was that attack? It caused me more harm than I anticipated.' He said under his breath as he examined his quickly closing wound. He had believed that he wouldn't sustain any injuries from the zombie's attack.
''Yo, what level are you? '' After this attack, the zombie appeared to have completely forgotten their previous animosity and inquired. Although he didn't know Raydon's level, he could infer that he was an E-Rank item holder.
''21 '' Raydon smiled as he lied. If he were a regular E-Rank item holder, this would most likely be his current level.
''21? That's far too low. Even though I'm level 29, I couldn't kill you with this attack. You should also have a stamina build.'' The zombie expressed surprise.
'So it's the power of a 29-level E-Rank item holder, huh?' Raydon considered. It was clear that the zombie was much more powerful than Herman, who was a level 24 item holder.
Actually, Herman wasn't particularly powerful because of his advanced age and the fact that he spent most of his time researching and developing body enchantments to extend his life expectancy rather than honing his fighting skills.
According to Raydon's newly discovered E-Rank information, when an item holder advances from F-Rank to E-Rank, all their stats increase by 10 points. Furthermore, once they reach E-Rank, the stat points they receive per level increase from 2 to 4.
This means that if the zombie became an E-Rank at level 10 and advanced to level 29, he would gain 76 stat points for the 19-level increase. This was a massive power boost on top of the +10 stat point boost he received for all of his stats.
'Shit, if I didn't have my title's sub-skills, he'd really treat me like a toy. ' He mused with a frown. He was still unsure of whether his title was a blessing or a curse.
"I'm Fehim; what about you?" After walking up to Raydon, the Zombie held out his hand and said. His previous hostile and angry demeanor had completely dissipated.

The zombie recognized Raydon's strength and subsequently became friendly. There was a proverb in this world stating that great warriors make best friends after great battles, and it appears that this zombie was one of those warriors.

''That is a good name, hahaha. Then we'll be in this together. We have plenty of time, but I'm not sure if it will be enough, so we need to get started right away.'' Fehim said as he patted Raydon on the shoulder.
