One of the big man's minions ran and seized the crippled boy by the throat.
'' Boss, are you okay? '' Another asked the burly man, who was slowly rising from the ground.
''I will kill that cripple.'' He stood up furiously and pulled a knife out of his pocket.
He grabbed the kid from his friend's hands and yelled. ''You really pissed me off, bitch. ''
The crippled boy's face turned white at the sight of the knife in the man's hand, but he continued to stare at the man's face without blinking.
''Let's see if you can be that brave when you die. '' The burly man became even more incensed when he noticed that the boy was able to look into his eyes despite trembling from fear.
He raised the knife and swung it at the boy's face when he took a hard blow to the head and fell to the ground again.
''Who are you attacking in whose place bastards? '' Dan's eyes were red with rage as he stared at the burly man who had fallen to the ground.
''How dare you? '' The companion of the burly man turned to face Dan and got ready to punch him.
But Sami's voice was heard.
''Did you think my brother was alone? '' He threw his overweight body at the man like a sumo wrestler and threw him.
Karan also sprinted and yelled as he positioned himself in front of the crippled young man. '' Don't you have shame ganging up on our brothers in the middle of the street? Can't afford to fight with us fairly? ''
''Fairly? '' Blood dripping from his head, the big man rose from the ground. He was now quaking with rage and said while gritting his teeth.
''You worms are not worth it. I'm going to kill you all here. '' He took a gun out of his belt and pointed it at Dan.
''Let's see if you can be that brave now. ''
''Are you planning to kill me? Will you disobey your leader's orders? '' Dan didn't seem at all frightened by the gun.
When the man heard Dan's words, he hesitated for a moment and said. ''I'll just say that I accidentally killed you in a gang war. Nothing happens, just one death. ''
''Look around you idiot, do you really think you can fool your Leader like that? '' Dan pointed to the onlookers who had gathered near them to find out what had happened.
The burly man looked around and spit on the ground and said angrily to Dan. ''I do not care. You really pissed me off. Someone will die here and you will make the choice. ''
Dan realized the situation was critical when he observed the man boiling over with rage. It was clear that he wouldn't listen no matter what he said. He muttered as he looked at each of his brothers individually while gritting his teeth. 'How can I choose any of them?'
He turned to look at the burly man again and said. ''Kill me. ''
''Dan!'' Karan cried out.
''No! What are you talking about? '' Sami yelled, his face turning white.
''No, big brother, please no. '' The kid who was involved in the incident at first yelled in depression.
''You are our leader, you cannot die. Let him kill me. I'm a cripple anyway, and I'm no use to you. ''
''Enough! '' Dan shouted loudly, and everyone fell silent.
''Kill me, and this fight ends here. But promise me you won't touch them. '' Dan said with a serious expression.
''Hahaha, don't worry; even if I wanted to, I don't want to further infuriate the leader because he would kill me as well. '' Despite having a completely insane appearance, it was obvious that the big man was terrified of the leader behind him.

"This will serve as an example for everyone, so you won't make me angry again." The man said this while pointing his gun at Dan.
Dan never averted his gaze from the person in front of him. Because if he turned to look at his brothers, he would see their sad and terrified faces.
His only thought was to protect them, as he always did. Even if he left, one of the brothers he left behind would undoubtedly step up to protect the others in his stead. Thus, he can die without having any regrets.
He had been able to face death without fear thanks to his trust in his brothers. risking one's life to save another... This feeling was difficult for some people to comprehend.
