When the others realized what had happened, the python had been decapitated.
Its long body fell onto the ground in two halves, and blood gushed out.
Ling Hao was astonished.
He looked from Huo Shan, whose clothes were splattered with blood, to the dead beast on the ground.
“Huo Shan, did you do this?”
Huo Shan said, “Yup. I think I’m doing alright, right?”
Ling Hao said, “I didn’t know you could do that!”
Ling Hao patted Huo Shan on the shoulder and spoke to Shao Xiao with a smile. “Shao Xiao, we’ve found a treasure.”
Shao Xiao was equally pleased. “Huo Shan, that’s great. Keep up the good work.”
Huo Shan hadn’t done it for his teammates. He was only trying to prove to Feng Wu that he could be useful to her, so that she could take him under her wing.
