Shao Xiao had initially thought that Feng Wu just got along well with Mr. Yang. As it turned out, she knew Gongsun Mu, the vice principal of the academy.
Everyone nodded. “Alright!”
Feng Wu shrugged. “We have two options now.”
Everyone looked at her with sparkling eyes.
Feng Wu said, “Option one: we head for the formation core and get out of the Secret Essence Mine. Option two: we go to rescue them.”
Shao Xiao said, “I’m worried about Cheng Fang.”
Wang Zhi nodded. “After all, they’re our classmates.”
Ling Hao said, “I’ll do whatever Feng Wu says.”
Huo Shan said, “Me, too!”
Feng Wu shook her head after some consideration. “It’s too dangerous over there. If we all go together, I don’t think I’ll be able to protect all of you.”

“We’re not afraid of danger!” Shao Xiao said.
Feng Wu said grumpily, “I know you’re not, but our enemies are all as capable as Jupiter Team, whose leader was a Spiritual King. What will you do?”
That sounded ominous. Everyone gave Feng Wu pleading looks. They wanted to join her but didn’t want to become a burden.
Feng Wu said, “You’ll just stay on the side and watch?”
The others nodded.
Feng Wu didn’t know what to say.
She thought for a moment before making up her mind. “Let’s get to the core as soon as we can. I can only control the formation from there. That way, no one else will be able to get away.”
After a pause, Feng Wu added, “We can’t know for sure that there’s only one team like Jupiter Team.”
Everyone’s faces darkened, and they all nodded. “Let’s go.”
Feng Wu smiled a little before they set out.
She walked up to the wall which Jupiter Team had come out from.
It looked the same as all the other walls in the tunnels. No one would have thought that a group of people would walk out of it.
Feng Wu took out a strange-looking pen and began to draw peculiar signs on the wall. They looked familiar, but her team members couldn’t understand a word.
Before long, Feng Wu was done. She put away the pen and nodded. “Let’s go.”
Huo Shan asked curiously, “Feng Wu, what did you write? Why can’t I understand a single word?”
Feng Wu said, “They’re inscriptions.”
“Inscriptions?” Huo Shan’s eyes widened. “Feng Wu, you know inscriptions!”

Feng Wu mulled over the word before she nodded. “I suppose you can say that.”
“Are you an inscription master, then? A Level 1 inscription master?” Ling Hao cried out.
Level 1? Feng Wu shook her head. “No, I’m not.”
She was already a Level 7 inscription master, and was moving on to Level 8.
Ling Hao said, “You’re not? That’s alright. I heard it’s very difficult, and only insanely intelligent people can master it. Of course, Feng Wu isn’t insane!”
Feng Wu said, “We should get going.”
The Secret Essence Mine was a labyrinth to others, but it wasn’t too difficult for Feng Wu. She could understand its structure.
