She looked so innocent when she shook her head in confusion. Anybody would believe her.
“You really haven’t seen him? I’m so mad!” Emperor Wu didn’t even give Feng Wu time to answer. She just sat there and watched the emperor complain about his son.
“Do you know what he did last night?
“He went out to fight!
“Do you know with whom?
“Zuo Chengfeng!
“Do you know who Zuo Chengfeng is?”
Emperor Wu went on before Feng Wu could answer.
“He’s Zuo Qingluan’s grandfather!
“That brat went to fight Zuo Chengfeng on his own!
“He’s of the older generation and is so much more capable! What made that brat so bold?!”
Feng Wu’s stomach lurched.
“Wait. He went to challenge Zuo Qingluan’s grandfather? Why?” Feng Wu was confused.
Emperor Wu stared at her. “You don’t know?”
Deep down, she knew the answer, but she insisted, “No, I don’t.”
“I heard Junjun and Zuo Chengfeng reached an agreement. If Zuo Chengfeng lost, he would have to keep his promise.” Emperor Wu stared at Feng Wu.
