The whole room was quiet for a while.

Then, came Huo Xiaoxiao’s earth-shattering cry.

Daddy!    ——

In the middle of the night, Huo Xiaoxiao laid on the bed, cruelly kneading her quilt.

The pain originally hurt only one side, but now, it’s a little  better. The two sides were symmetrical.

Her father’s attitude towards her was getting worse and worse. He not only moved his hand once, but moved it twice.

Do it now and pay it back later.

They said that the longer the child grew, the more resentful it became. It was estimated that when she grew up for two more years, her father didn’t know what she was going to do.

Huo Xiaoxiao thought for a while. What she said just now might be too serious. If she did not poke her father’s ego, how could he have been so angry that he slapped her twice?

The reason why her father had become so conscientious…  Perhaps, he had his own reasons.

In the past, she always told him not to do bad things, but now, it was too absurd. He didn’t do bad things, and he believed that the law of heaven could prove his innocence.

Her father’s awareness was a little too high.

However, when something like this happened, her father seemed to be indifferent on the surface. But deep inside, he was still anxious, right?

After all, this matter involved the law. A mistake would probably lead to jail.

Huo Xiaoxiao couldn’t help but feel a little upset about her father’s “hate that iron can’t make steel” today.

She should have said something nice to comfort him and encourage him.

She slowly climbed down the bed, opened the door, and ran to her father’s room quietly on tiptoes.

With the door closed, Huo Xiaoxiao brought a small stool from her room, stepped on it, and opened the door.

As soon as the door opened, the cold wind whistled in, causing Huo Xiaoxiao to shrink her neck and shake her spirits.

No figure of her father was seen in the room. The French windows were open,  a figure faintly behind the curtains, like her father.

Sure enough, her daddy didn’t sleep in the middle of the night. He was standing alone on the balcony, probably full of troubles.

Huo Xiaoxiao felt more guilty.

Her father was now carrying these things alone, and he listened to what she said earlier. He might be uncomfortable deep inside.

A big man couldn’t cry and vent anything to his child. He could only hold it back and carry it.

She walked into the room. When she was just about to call her dad, she heard the voice coming from the balcony.

“Qian Dachuan changed his mouth. This matter is not finished. His son wants bone marrow. He can, but he has to do as I said.”#pleasereadthischapterat foxaholic.com

“That Ji Shuyang who reported anonymously, since the discarding of one of his legs three years ago didn’t make him a long memory, then this time, breaking both of his legs will let him learn a good lesson.”

“Wen Yang is not worth my own hands. I will send the evidence to Jiang Huai tomorrow. Didn’t he push Wen Yang to deal with Jiang Zhi? Tell him that if Wen Yang is not resolved, Huo Family will no longer be neutral.”

“A bunch of things that don’t know what’s good or bad…”

Huo Suicheng hung up the phone.

The balcony was cold and windy, and the coolness was amazing.

However, he felt that there was no place more sobering than here.

Although he did not understand why Wen Yang, who he did not have any interactions with, would target him with this matter. It was impossible for this matter to be directed by Jiang Huai.

Huo Family’s attitude towards Jianghuai’s industrial integration projects was neutral and he was not biased against any party. Jiang Huai had no reason to break the balance under such circumstances.

This Wen Yang, what is he plotting? Does he think he can get him in by just grabbing a little evidence ?

While this matter was happening, he didn’t even give the idea to come forward.

That kind of person was not worthy of him to do things manually.

As the night darkened, Huo Suicheng calmed down and turned back to his room.

As soon as he opened the curtains, he saw his daughter standing in a daze not far from the balcony.

He did not know when she came.

He did not know how much she heard on the phone call just now.

Huo Suicheng closed the balcony window, walked to look at her stiff face, and touched it.

It was cold and stiff.

Touching her hands again, it was cold.

“When did you come here? Why are your hands freezing like this?” Huo Suicheng quickly hugged her on the bed and covered her with a quilt.

Huo Xiaoxiao hid half of her face in the quilt, feeling the warming of her hands and feet. She looked at her father, she gulped and swallowed.

Huo Suicheng frowned and touched her little face. “What’s the matter?”

Huo Xiaoxiao shook her head.

“Did you hear what Daddy said just now?”

Huo Xiaoxiao didn’t know whether she should nod or shake her head.

She had mixed feelings in her heart right now. “All this time of worry and apprehension was wrongly paid for after all.

She was so stupid to believe everything her dad said on the surface.

She should have known that with her dad’s tactics, it was absolutely impossible for him to tie up his hands after being falsely accused and stay at home doing nothing.

Did he do nothing?

No, while coaxing her, he secretly poked people to death.

Fortunately, she was worried and perturbed for so long. Every day, she was depressed because of her father’s affairs.

Huo Xiaoxiao felt that she had been deceived and her father was not worth it.#pleasereadthischapterat foxaholic.com

She turned around, hugged the quilt, and felt sorry for herself, not wanting to talk to Huo Suicheng.

“Huo Xiaoxiao, talk. What’s the matter?”

Huo Xiaoxiao kept silent and did not speak.

""

Huo Suicheng reached out and touched her forehead. Hertemperature gradually came up, nothing abnormal.

Thinking of the phone call on the balcony just now, she might have heard it.

This kid was smarter than her peers, so she must have heard something.

Huo Suicheng’s eyes were dim, but his tone of voice was quite soft, “Xiaoxiao, did you hear your dad’s call on the balcony just now? You listened to dad’s explanation. Daddy, just talked casually. I won’t really do that. I promised you I wouldn’t do anything bad, so I won’t. Believe Daddy, okay?”

Huo Xiaoxiao ground her teeth.

Do you really treat her like a kid?

I believe you are a ghost!

You’re a villain, you’re so bad!
