Yun Lan's shout reverberated throughout the family meeting room through the manor, her body started to release cold as the temperature around the room started to deteriorate at an astonishing pace, Xiao just standing outside of the hall felt the cold but it didn't effect him much, with a shrug of his shoulders he knocked and entered the room where he came upon his fuming mother
Coming inside he could see that his mother was facing his grandfather and his father who stood at one side, while his mother stood at the other side, the cold released by my mother doesn't seemed to affect my grandfather a bit, while my father needed some effort to defend against it, as for Xiao, Well he's not a fire affinity cultivator for nothing...
"Um?, not bad child"

Not once did he say grandfather, nor did he acknowledge his fathers existence, with his final parting words, his small hands caught his mothers as he walked out of the room, leaving behind a calm Yun Hao and a fuming Yun Qinghong, Xiao walked silently towards his mothers room along with his mother
After a few seconds later they entered Yun Lan's room, just as they did Yun Lan directly hugged her son as she patted his back, her eyes were extremely cold as she spoke
"Don't worry little Xi, since they won't cancel it, we will just have to make sure that the engagement won't take place"
