Torex asked with a smile, anticipating battle, to which Xiao gave a similar one as he replied
"Sure, let's go cause some chaos old man"
Xiao added a jab in between but Torex didn't mind it as he smiled, he had always been a straightforward person, he had seen the best and worst of Xiao and knew him better than anyone, he was fine with Xiao wielding his power that was the last remaining legacy of his people
'At least in this way the power of my past will shine through him'
With such thoughts, the whole world of Swords started to shake, Xiao could tell that they were all shaking with sadness, they were unwilling to let go of their lord, Torex waved his hand as all the swords started shinning with suspended light, the final wisp of his power came together as they flooded Xiao who felt unprecedented power fill him up, clanging sounds were heard, as the swords vibrated and then with a boom all was broken
Meanwhile, within the outside world the war raged on, bodies of flesh and blood had already made small mountains everywhere, the smell of blood had filled the land and the sky, the world that was shining with beauty and pure Qi was now unseen and lost, Men and Women gave it their all as they fought to protect their lands
The Skyllas all kept dying one after another without an end, they who were just the form of energy and death moved with excitement as they relished on the death and sadness they caused, the core of the world felt its weakness as it drew in the faith of the world trying to boost up the finale, the phoenixes started to retreat a bit leaving behind many to die, several trump cards had been thrown and many were tried
Amber fought with anger and hatred causing thousands to burn and despair in her anger, humans that were weak were slaughtered left and right as they were being killed, again and again, overall it was a hell-like scene that would make the toughest of all men drown, Yurou's face was pale and deathly, most of her injuries were already healed but the scene in front of her was too much for an 11-year-old

A Skylla roared towards the sky as three powerful ones among them surrounded Amber, even with her power she was being pushed back, she bit her lips as complex emotions passed through her eyes, finally, she relented as she gave her orders
"Retreat ad start the burning flame of fury!"
Her orders were received by the rest as flame barriers were created in the main palace, soon a spatial wave was spread and the rest of the phoenixes were transported within it, soon the barrier acted as a healer as they all began to heal, even the Skyllas were unable to enter but the only problem was that the rest that was outside unable to enter was left to die.....
