Ian’s life was occupied with a lot of things including the movie release, new designing of gaming, his dating life, and keeping up with the other studios who have been eyeing him since day one to get back to him.

John Wick still had three more days before its big release, but there was also something that had occupied Ian’s mind and schedule for the evening.

“Keep me updated. Tonight’s the Feliciano Awards, I’m sure the two nominations are promising. So, keep them coming,” Ian told Murphy.

“Sir, we've got another problem.”

“What is it?”

“Do you remember J. J. James?” Murphy asked.

“Yeah, the critic and the director who said multiple good things about Home Alone back to back?”

“Yes, him. Exactly. But these days, he’s been criticising the missing touch in your work, and right now a lot is going on in social media. People are divided into two, and it’s an unwanted drama there.”

Ian sighed loudly.

Everything was great. Doing movies. Getting nominated for awards. A movie is about to be released in two days. Scriptwriting. New things. And then, suddenly, the public tantrums.

“Let the PR handle it. Mention not to address anything on my behalf. It’d be just accepting everything.”

“Yes, sir. That entire thing ain’t even about constructive criticism. James is someone who has a history since forever with Jeff. Probably one of his doings.”

Ian shook his head. “Jeff is surprisingly silent considering a lot of things. Check if there’s anyone else behind it. And, call Rae after you walk out.”

Murphy nodded and walked out.

Selena Armstrong was an event manager of Feliciano. Feliciano was an award ceremony that mainly originated with the theme, ‘Un-swayed—True Talents’ that aimed to give the talents that are being found by Hollywood to encourage and motivate them.

“It shouldn’t be too big or small. And this is just… Too big! The font size on the screen does matter! It matters especially when you see that those letters go in the background of the pictures! That’s all that matters to us, so go! Change!” she yelled at the top of her lungs.

There were only seven hours left for the award ceremony to begin, and things were far away from ready.

And as far as she got to know, if anything goes wrong, she’d have her head rolling off the stage rather than show her face to her coworkers.

“I’ve been sent to ask about the seat arrangements,” one of the workers came with a thick British accent.

“M’lady, please ask your question,” Selena asked back with a fake accent.

The woman chuckled and went ahead with asking the question she had in mind. “Where are these people sitting? We didn’t discuss if it’s going to be to the left or right this year. So?”

“Oh… Right. Right, it is.”

“Okay… If everything is going alright, it’s time to discuss the press management!” The woman said and walked away.

“Thank you, Jemaimah! Hope your baby turns out great!” Selena shouted at the pregnant woman who just walked away while touching her five-month pregnant belly.

Jemaihah wasn’t a normal lady. She was someone with great hearing abilities and someone who paid every little detail ongoing around her. That was mainly because of what she does in her free time.

Ever since she knew she was pregnant, with multiple weird cravings, she thrived in her hobby as a writer. And with that, there’s only one conclusion of what she was. Guessed it right, she ran a gossip magazine, and it was much easier considering that she worked under a major wing.

‘Now this is great. The next break will allow me to unleash all my thoughts.’ she thought to herself and looked at the popped belly. ‘You’d get no stress baby, only drama’

She smiled and walked away to do the necessary arrangements.

-

A huge round of clap and laughter erupted through the crowd. The event started a while ago. Kim Marsh, who was an A-listed actor, a talented singer-songwriter, and an artist was invited to do the welcoming-opening speech.

As usual, the best part of the award ceremony was the opening speech. Some people got roasted, appreciated, and most importantly, revealed. In simple terms, the ways celebrities were introduced during the Feliciano's held a pretty special place in everyone’s mind throughout the two years just until the next Feliciano was held.

“....It brings me to my next question, how come only- ONLY 12% of the directors in the top 25 are women? Only 25%?! And out of them, for seven titles The Dark Knight written by Ian Renner, and directed by Raelynn Sawyer has been nominated! How great is that?! To top it off, we've had our new director’s three other movies nominated in several categories, Batman, Crazy Stupid Love and we’ve Ferris Bueller’s Day Off!”

The announcer continued his speech while addressing every other nomination.

The event was known to be one of the biggest in Hollywood. And with that being mentioned, it should also be a known fact that Ian, his date Raelynn and three of the actors who played the main character in his movies were sitting together in the centre of the theatre which meant that they already were in the middle of Hollywood.

Ian knew something and was happy about something that no one did know. It simply was the fact that his goal when he gave himself when he found himself in this world was coming true—almost.

Events like these, where talent is appreciated and gifted were important to celebrate his victories—which exactly was what he was doing.

“I can’t believe I made it here!” Raelynn whispered to Ian.

He looked shocked, but for the cameras, he had to put a brave face in.

“What if you won tonight? What are you going to do?” He asked with a smirk. After a pause, he added, “Please don’t cry up there, Rae. You’re the worst crier ever.”

She rolled her eyes and smiled back. “I won’t cry. And there’s like a twelve percent probability that I’d win. Have you watched the other movies?”

She asked with much enthusiasm for her defeat at the run for movies.

‘Of course, she did her math while calculating all the probabilities and shit. Who are we talking about here, Rae? The girl who needs consistency in everything?’

“Don’t worry. I haven’t. But I bet they are not as good as yours.”

[Midnight Train Station - 9.10 pm]

“...And the award goes to…. Oscar-winning movie, Crazy. Stupid. Love by Ian Renner!”

Huge claps and yells erupted throughout the hall as Ian stood up from his chair and bowed to everyone.

He felt a hint of happiness in his heart and it was seen through his face.

The camera focused on everyone including Jeff Sanson who stood up to cheer Ian.

“I heard rumours about Ian and Jeff having problems left to right about things… I wonder if they’re true though. But by the looks of it, I don’t think so,” Selena was about to go home considering that her early shift of work ended. The main reason the team cut her off was that she had a baby on the way, and they all knew that even Selena couldn’t handle pregnancy.

The man who sat beside her took a look at her belly, and back at herself.

Thoughts were going on in his mind seeing a rich person, in a train station and commenting on someone on TV.

“Don’t tell me Ian Renner’s baby is in there.” the man commented outright.

“What? What are you talking about?” Selena was shocked.

Her pale hand was placed on her belly while she tried to understand what the man was implying.

“Look woman, you’re rich, and for the past hour, you’ve been here trying to talk with me. I tried to talk as little as possible, but you’re just… a lot, you know that? Good luck with the baby, and stop talking about such an amazing director while putting him in a bad light. My train is here.”

The man said and stood up, walking away from the situation.

If there was anything that Selena felt, it was an embarrassment.

‘Seems like not only on social media, real-life fans too are hardcore on Ian’ she thought to himself and continued to watch the screen that was attached to the wall of the station.

“When is your train coming, ma’am?”

A man wearing a uniform walked in surprising Selena, again.

“In thirty minutes.”

He nodded and walked away. There were thirty minutes for her to do anything—so she decided on her favourite hobby, which was completing the article that she was so close to.

‘Ian Renner—A Sensation In and Out!’

Thus, she started typing.
