Chapter 12

TL-Mechatronic

Goosebumps surfaced all over her. Then Nina scrambled out of bed, her ankle hurt so much that she had tears in the eyes.

“Why? What’s the matter?”

Nina answered Kirill’s question.

“I have a hunch that something big will happen, Something big. Do you have my uniform?”

“I burned it. Temporary clothes are under the bed.”

Nina pulled out the basket from under the bed. The size was large and it was baggy, but this was not the time to think about trifling things

Kirill sighed as she saw Nina take out her patient suit and change into her uniform.

“Stop it. You just woke up from fever due to the poison. You’re not feeling well, and in that condition, you’ll be the first to die if there’s a battle.”

“I would love to do that, but this is too important to ignore.”

She wore a long black coat and put her sword on her belt.

With one foot in boots and the other with bandages, she went out and said.

“Kirill, in case unknown people suddenly come, run away and never show yourself. Don’t wait for me to come back.”

Kirill frowned at the unusual atmosphere. “What is it? What’s wrong?”

“You can run away unconditionally!”

Nina, spitting words out crazily, began to crawl.

“Why do I have an injury at such a time, I will die from pain first, damn it!”

Nina didn’t slow down despite screaming from pain. Rather, her speed accelerated more and more.

Bang-!

The next moment, a purple flash filled her field of vision with the sound of the earth’s rumbling,

At the same time, the poisonous wind blew strongly

‘The barriers broke?!’

With the sound of crackling and something burning, blue flame splashed over the coat.

Even uniforms with special protections to prevent contamination of Bellac could not withstand this strong poison.

As Nina was blown away by the wind, she grabbed a tree branch and threw off her coat while spinning around.

Then she started running forward again.

“Damn it, damn it, damn it.’

As she swears with her mouth, Nina pulls out her sword.

By the time she arrived at the center of the explosion, a battle was already taking place.

“What is this madness?’

It seemed like the Bellacs were gathering and having a party.

And they were only those of High-Grade level.

As she quickly glanced over the surviving personnel, Nina felt despair.

The general members of the knights were wiped out, and there were only two elites who survived.

Jean and Vice-Commander Louis.

“What about Adrian?

Adrian was seen lying behind Jean and Louis. Nina unknowingly screamed.

“Adrian!”

Jean responded to her cry instead.

“He’s alive! The crazy damn personnel blew that thing up and got caught up in it instead…….”

“Thankfully, we got the chance to safely shield ourselves.”

Louis continued.

Adrian was able to survive thanks to the two blocking the attacks.

Those who were near the barrier and near the explosion were shattered and blown away.

One side of the cube building was completely blown away, and something like a sticky liquid was flowing from there.

Bellacs continued to crawl from within.

Above all, something like a giant claw was about to come out of a narrow barrier hole, so the rest of the barrier seemed ready to collapse. “Nina! be careful!”

Jean shouted.

It was a big squid-like Bellac that hit Nina. Many of the legs were very long, each wrapped in steel scales.

When it collided with the sword, a spark splattered.

“North Wind and Frost, bless me with your strength. Blade of the howling wind come forth, ice sharpness come forth!”

Under the rolled sleeves, the spirit crest glowed as if it was burning.

The white, frozen blade cut off a huge leg at once. It was like cutting soft butter.

The cut section froze in pure white. Nina quickly entered between Jean and Louis.

The regroup was easy because they had been in sync dozens and hundreds of times.

The battle became easier, but victory could not be seen. Nina bit her teeth.

“We can’t win this.

It was already overwhelming to deal with the giant squid, but the other Bellacs were crawling nonstop.

Besides, currently, only one side of the barrier was broken and they’re having a hard time. What if all, sides broke?

A dark purple fog was spreading around the floor.

At first glance, they can tell that humans won’t be able to survive it.

“Besides, I’m injured. Damn it, fuck.’

“North Wind and Frost. My allies that support me, shield us that even spring could not break through, protect us with stillness, a complete shield of winter!”

As she raised the sword and shouted, a round shield was formed as if a block of ice frozen.

“Young master!”

Leaving her sword on the floor, Nina knelt next to him. Jean was still on the lookout for his opponents inside the shield, and Louis came up and examined the wounds.

Sticky blood was flowing from Adrian’s head.

While taking off the contaminated coat, Adrian came to his senses.

He opened his hazy eyes, and he got up staggering.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

At the sound of continuous hitting on the shield, Nina quickly said.

“Please leave this to me. You two, retreat with the young master.”

It was a short and concise plan, but no one accepted

Jean said, “Don’t be funny.” and Adrian frowned.

Nina saw the shield that had begun to break and said, quickly again.

“I’m the only one who can close the hole and stop the Bellacs. It’s only me and you that have spirits here, and I can’t leave it to you, can I?”

“Why not.”

Adrian reached out and grabbed her arm.

“I will do it.”

“No, how can you do it with that body. Most of all, you’re the master. You’re my Young Master. I’m the only one who can do it.”

Nina grinned and stood up.

“Jean, vice-commander. Please.”

Jean asked with an anxious face.

“What are you going to do?”

He knows what she plans to do, but still asked her,

Nina shrugged.

“I will sign a contract with a new spirit.”

Jean fixed the sword.

“Even if I die, I die with you. I won’t run away and leave you behind.”

“It’s not running away, I’m asking you to protect Young Master.”

“I don’t need it.”

Adrian said roughly trying to get up from his place, but the dizziness made it difficult for him to get upright.

His vision was dim. Louis supported his staggering body.

“I won’t leave you. If someone has to remain, I will remain.”

Adrian said, roughly wiping away his gushing blood.

Nina swelled her cheeks.

“Really, you don’t make sense. You still have to go. need someone to report this. If the master dies, what

do you think will be the treatment for the members who escaped leaving the commander behind to fight alone?”

Adrian shook his head at her words.

Nina pushed Adrian’s chest.

“Do your duty.”

Living is also a responsibility, and survival is also a duty.

Adrian gritted his teeth quickly. He didn’t want to move a step from that place.

He lost everything by a single mistake in judgment.

However……. However…….

Now, even you?

Even you?

No, he won’t allow this.

He absolutely won’t permit it.

Without you l

Those words were caught in the middle of his throat.

Nobody cares about my life. Only you. So let me stand here with you.

“Commander.”

Louis called him.

Adrian looked at him with a distorted face.

“Let’s go.”

At that moment, the shield broke. Nina kicked the ground.

The squid legged Bellac followed her. Avoiding the attack, Nina began a long incantation.

“Your burning flame, burning anything, and exploding heat, an infinitely springing flame, I give you my flesh, my blood, my bones…….”

“Nina!”

Adrian shouted.

Nina clenched her teeth.

Her energy began to leak at a tremendous speed.

She can feel the chilling end of her existence.

“I offer my soul to your altar that burns endlessly.”

The air trembled and wooed. Nina squeezed her sword.

“Come down, Red Flame.”
