The ceiling again.

“Why did I have to wake up in that part?”

“Another strange dream?”

At the sound of his voice, Nina looked at Adrian and said with her arms wide open.

“Yes, so give me a big hug.”

Because Adrian was there as I woke from the crazy dream, I wanted to act spoiled to him.

With a strange expression on his face, Adrian looked at the ceiling, sighed, then came to the side of the bed and hugged Nina tightly.

“Sigh-.”

His body temperature was hot and I felt a sense of relief when I was held in his firm, wide arms.

‘I’m glad I remembered everything this time.’

My family, my sister, my brother, kind words and whispers that they loved me. I remember everything.

Rubbing her cheek against his shoulder, Nina muttered.

“I think the fever is all gone now.”

“Really?”

“Yes, because Adrian feels hot.”

“……I see.”

He sighed and Nina grinned as she hugged him.

Her whole body was drained of energy. It was not a normal dream.

I get it now. It’s not just ‘remembering the contents of a book’, but even if it isn’t, it won’t change anything.

Because I have you.

“I’m glad I met Adrian.”

“……that’s my line.”

Nina grinned and muttered.

“Adrian.”

“Yes?”

“I’m hungry.”

“I knew it.”

He pulled her body apart and wrapped his palms around Nina’s cheeks. Scrutinizing her face, he asked.

“Would you like some pickled peaches?”

“Really?! We have it?!”

“Yes.”

He laughed

“You seem fine.”

Jean looked at Nina while she was eating honey-pickled peaches and was relieved.

Nina, who was enjoying the peaches like a sherbet suitable for summer weather by freezing them slightly with the spirit, handed out the fork that she ate with gusto to Adrian.

“Do you want some?”

Adrian, who looked at the peach with serious contemplation, finally gave up.

“I’ll give it to you.”

“Hey, it’s really good. Would you like some Jean?”

“I will catch your cold.”

“Oh, that’s right.”

Nina nodded and gently sucked the tip of the silver fork. Even the light scent of honey pickled peach was delicious. As she emptied until the last piece, Nina put the bowl down with a satisfied face.

The golden peaches that used to be filled in a beautiful crystal bowl are now gone. Then she heard a knock on the door. After a while, the door opened and Randell entered with a bouquet of flowers in his arms.

“Nina, they said your fever went down? Are you okay now?”

“Yes, I’m fine.”

The bouquet he brought was more like a bunch of herbs than flowers. Randell hung the bouquet with a refreshing scent on the posts of the bed and looked at me.

“Randell, Randell.”

“Yes?”

“Have you ever grabbed my hair?”

“What……?”

Surprisingly, his voice did not come out very loudly, it was a suffocating “What?”

Jean rolled his eyes at once and pulled himself off the wall menacingly.

“What now? What did he do?”

“What nonsense! Why would I do that to you?”

Randell’s voice poured out as if it were bursting because of Jean’s words.

“Ah, that’s true, isn’t it?”

Nina nodded her head and Randell asked, perplexed.

“Why on earth are you asking that?”

“Because of the dream.”

“Dream?”

“I had a dream while I was sick, and you were there.”

“I grabbed your hair?”

He was at a loss for words. Nina nodded and added.

“Don’t worry. I’ve punished you with justice.”

“What on earth do you think of me······.”

Randell, who groaned, drily washed his face with his hand while dumbfounded by Nina’s subconsciousness.

‘As expected, no one else remembers.’

When I thought it was about a book, it was natural that no one else could remember it. But if you think it’s something you’ve already experienced once······.

‘Hold on?’

Nina blinked her eyes.

The dream is so vivid that it doesn’t seem like a simple dream.

‘Is this a regression?’

I’m sure there was something like that in my old memories. Something related to regression or possession.

‘Then why did I remember those past memories like it was a book?’

Agonizing about it Nina, decided to throw away her worries about useless things she couldn’t do herself. Because that was not important now.

‘Fiona.’

Even in my dream, Fiona is really Fiona.  Saint Lucrezia, who just appeared, on the other hand, ······.

‘Oh, come to think of it, didn’t Fiona call Lucrezia a friend?’

Ashton and the Temple Orphanage.

‘And Edgar.’

These might be keywords that can help find the current Fiona.

‘I don’t know who Lucrezia is, so let’s find Fiona first.’

Wouldn’t that solve the problem?

“Randell, Randell.”

At Nina’s call, he looked at her with a face full of dissatisfaction. Of course, he has a bad personality, but pulling Nina’s hair?

Isn’t that a crazy dream?

“I know Randell won’t do it. But the dream was so vivid, it felt real. I was just asking because I was confused. It’s a joke, I’m kidding.”

“I know what you usually think of me.”

“Randell punches were really soft, like a cotton ball.”

“What?”

“I told you, I served you justice.”

When Randell understood what she meant was akin to beating him up, he had a face that didn’t know what to say.  Jean nodded his head with a subtly satisfied smile and Nina said.

“More than that…”

“More than that?”

Randell’s voice became more somber. Nina quickly chose to change the subject.

“I think she’s weird.”

The three all looked at Nina with a mysterious look.

“Huh? What?”

“While you were sick, three people from the temple came.” (Adrian)

“The great Saint will heal a human being who is nothing but a lowly creature, is the bullshit they spit out.”  (Randell)

“Didn’t she do anything strange to you?” (Jean)

Nina tilted her head when Adrian, Randell, and Jean spoke one after another. Although the Saint sang the chant, it didn’t seem to have affected her.

Adrian pulled the chair closer to the bed and leaned toward her, asking.

“What’s wrong?”

“Well, can’t you just call it a hunch?”

Randell made a grim face at Nina’s words, and Jean and Adrian became serious. It was because Nina’s hunch have never been off the mark. She continued.

“Could you look into the temple orphanage where the Saint was?”

“Do you want to know more about the people around her? Is there anything else you want to know?” (Adrian)

“No, I think that’ll do for now.”

Adrian nodded at her words, grabbed Nina who was trying to get out of bed, and said.

“Rest a little more.”

“It’s rather uncomfortable because I’m lying down too much.”

I wanted to quickly get rid of the strange helplessness that came after the fever went down.

“I’m going to wash up for now.”

“I’ll tell them to get ready.”

Adrian pulled the rope, and Nina looked at it somehow pleased.

“Now there’s a bell and if you pull the string the people will really come. In the past, I used to scoop up water and wait on the Young Master by myself.”

Randell looked at Nina with a shocked face.

“Now… just what······.” (Randell)

“Why didn’t you get help from a servant to bring the water?”

To Adrian’s words, Nina said, “No need. That was also one of my jobs.” and shut her mouth.

Moments later, three maids politely said, “Everything is ready.” and came in with a greeting bow, Nina followed them out. When Jean and Randell had also gone out, Adrian sat down in Nina’s empty room, exhausted from all energy.

‘A strange dream.’

It was not only Nina, he also had a weird dream.

It was a really, really······.

‘What a fucking stupid dream.’

Adrian sighed and rubbed his face.

He refused Nina’s confession… No, rejection is the best word for that.

I literally dreamed of kicking Nina.
