The door suddenly opened and Jean entered. He asked, panting hard as he was running at great speed.

“What was that just now?”

Nina answered Jean.

“Since there was no impact on the barrier, I don’t think it was an attack.”

At Nina’s words, Jean then looked out the window and checked Nina’s barrier.

“Did you cover the whole mansion?”

“Yes.”

“That’s amazing.”

Jean whistled once.

Adrian said to Nina.

“The barrier blocks both inside and outside, right? If so-.”

Before he could finish his words, General manager Louis came in and said:

“Dame Nina, please disarm the barrier. People are protesting that they are locked up and unable to get out.”

“Should I also go out?”

Nina looked back at Louis and was surprised to see that he had both eyes open. But he didn’t look particularly angry. He continued.

“At least we have to move the Dark Knights.”

“I’ll take them out.”

At Nina’s words, Louis nodded lightly.

“That would be great. If possible, please keep the barrier up as well.”

In Louis’ words, Nina flinched as she tried to ask, “Why?” Except for Louis, the three showed the same reaction and looked out the window.

Louis then asked.

“Can you keep it?”

“It depends on what level the Bellac is. Young master, I’ll be going now!”

Saying so, Nina dragged Jean and ran out of the room. She changed into the uniform in an instant and ran outside.

Jean branded his halberd in one hand and glanced back at the Dark knights who were chasing him around.

“Group!”

They quickly stood in pairs.

Nina looked up at the sky and let out a mocking sound between a laugh and a sigh.

“Attention, defensive formation number three.”

At Nina’s words, each of them moved to their location and Jean said grimly.

“It’s coming.”

Bang! Bang!

Bellac literally poured down from the sky like rain. Screams erupted from here and there but were buried by Bellac’s howls.

Most of them were grade C or lower, but some B grades were mixed in. A hard-skinned Bellac fell over the townhouse, but it was blocked by the barrier and bounced off.

The fallen Bellac was dealt with by the knights.

“Jean!”

As Nina ran and screamed at him, Jean glanced up in the sky and held out his halberd.

The moment she stepped on the spear tip, he swung it with strength. Nina’s body soared into the air, slashing the winged Bellac. She kicked the falling monster with her feet, gaining momentum and then slashing another nearby Bellac.

She looked like a god with wings. Raja was amazed.

“Oh, My God.”

“Don’t look away.”

Charlotte whispered and swung her sword. A small scorpion-shaped Bellac helplessly fell to her sword.

“Yes, Yes. Captain.”

Charlotte’s cheeks reddened slightly at Raja’s reply, but she didn’t say anything. Her sword was efficient and precise, and it was the perfect match for Raja’s euphoria.

“Well, there are a lot of them, but the level is not high.”

Raja agreed to Kell’s cheerful words.

The Dark Knights, who are accustomed to combat, were united, and gradually pushed the Bellac out, widening their boundaries.

“But if it keeps coming like this…”

Kell glanced at Charlotte. However it might be, Charlotte was physically inferior to the two of them, and she had no choice but to be at a disadvantage point against opponents who pushed her through sheer numbers.

“What is that?”

It was then that Pan let out a slurred question.

A shiny round sphere floated in the air over wonder.

If they looked closely, they can see a person in colorful clothes inside the sphere. It was an outfit they had seen a few times.

It was the Saint.

At the same time, a beautiful hymn began to be heard. The spheres of light grew bigger and bigger, passing by them it became large enough to cover the capital.

The sound of singing in everyone’s ears was sweet enough to captivate people.

Nina and Jean frowned and he clenched his teeth.

“Is this what you said?”

“Yes. A strange crackling noise.”

Jean, who was now a Spirit Contractor, could also hear the sound.

Bellac disappeared or retreated whenever it touched the sphere of light, and the sphere that covered the entire capital soon flashed and disappeared. The street with the townhouses fell into silence, and in the next moment, frenzied voices erupted everywhere.

“Glory to God!!”

“He saved us!”

“Saint!!”

“Wow-!”

The Dark Black Knights stood there, vigilant about the situation, but when Jean raised his hand, they quickly lined up in front of the townhouse.

“Any injuried?”

“None.”

Charlotte took a step forward to reply

Lucrezia, who had been floating in the air, could not be seen going down. Nina sighed and snapped her fingers, making the barrier that surrounded the townhouse disappeared.

Adrian walked out as if there had never been an attack from Bellac and glanced around.

“Damage?”

“We don’t have any, but the rest of the area seems to have suffered significant damage. And we need to send someone to the temple.”

In response to Nina’s brief report, Adrian looked at the ray of light remaining in the air and answered.

“Jack is coming with the news.”

Jean asked cautiously.

“Can I help those around us?”

The cries and screams of those who were crushed by the buildings and the wounded could be heard here and there. Adrian nodded his head and Jean immediately divided the teams and set out with the Dark Knights to save the people.

“T-That, that! That one just now!”

The door opened and Fiona ran out screaming. Startled by her staggering steps, Nina ran and caught her.

Fiona grabbed Nina like a person possessed by madness.

“It was Lucrezia, that, that song, that-!”

Her pale green eyes flashed with anger. Nina wrapped Fiona’s shoulder and said.

“Let’s continue once we go inside. This is not a good place to talk.”

Fiona hugged Nina and began to cry, so Nina hugged her tightly and lifted her up. Looking up at Nina’s back as she entered inside, Adrian looked up at the townhouse.

The moment the light flashed, nothing else came to mind.

Only Nina.

But Nina put a barrier on the whole house. Such Nina was lovely, and on the other hand, bitterness lingered on his insides.

“Your Grace.”

Louis came over and looked around. His purple eyes looked at the group of lights floating around once and made a strange face.

He said.

“The barrier is broken.”

“What?”

“The barrier surrounding the Imperial Palace has been broken. I can’t see it.”

“That’s… visible to your eyes?”

Louis smiled softly.

“Because I have good eyes. And it looks like this disappearing black dust replaced the barrier…”

“Black color? Isn’t it gold?”

“Does it look gold?”

With a puzzled look on his face, Louis looked at Adrian with only one eye closed.

“I think they’ve overlaid it to look like that. But it’s black.”

“I understand the situation.”

Adrian said and ruffled his hair. He smiled in an uncharacteristically way.

“It looks like they really want to end the world.”

Fiona hung on Nina and wept.

“I-I miss Edgar-.”

Nina felt even more sorry for those often accompanying words. Fearing that she might run dry and run out of water, Nina called the maid to bring tea and sugar.

Drinking the tea with sugar in it, Fiona seemed to have regained her senses. She looked at Nina with big-wide eyes.

“Does Edgar know that Lucrezia…..is the Saint?”

“He knows. Edgar is the escort.”

Fiona’s eyes widened. She bit her lip and blue sparks seemed to flow out of her light green eyes.

‘She didn’t know.’

“Edgar, me, and Lucrezia grew up in the same orphanage.”

The temple was poor, and so were the orphans. Everyone wore clothes made of the same fabric, and they held on to that one set of clothes until they were too tight and uncomfortable.

Still, Fiona was happy.

Lucrezia always snorted at her, “Are you satisfied with this kind of pork porridge?” and used to give her a flick.

“I will never live like this. I’ll leave the orphanage.”

Lucrezia said so, and Fiona was very proud of such a friend. She had dreams and ambitions that Fiona did not have and looked shiny and cool.

“Yes, Lucrezia will definitely be able to do it.”

When cheering, Lucrezia said with a face that there was no helping it.

“I’ll take you too.”

Fiona laughed, but it didn’t matter if Lucrezia didn’t take her out.
