He stared blankly at her back.

It was truly spectacular to see a mountain-like Bellac freeze into a huge pillar of ice.

From that day on, he couldn’t take his eyes off her. As if drawn to wherever she was, her voice entered his ears and her figure caught his eyes.

“Really.”

Adrian stood up by the window and smiled bitterly.

How could I not love you?

How can I put this into words?

That attraction, my heart, your reflection in my eyes, your voice in my ears.

Just as it is impossible to express a beautiful spectacle with words, there are things that can only be fully expressed inside the mind.

This was one of those things.

He didn’t want this time to be short. ‘Last time’ may have ended short, but this time he wanted to go all the way.

Before going to find Jean, Nina stopped by Pocco.

“I have completed the requested item.”

“Wow-.”

Nina cheered and accepted the object Pocco was offering.

“Is that for combat too?”

“How can someone fight with this?”

Nina said so as she lifted her skates.

“Because it has a blade…”

“Didn’t I tell you this is used to skate on ice?”

“Ice?”

“Yes.”

“When the silver lake is all frozen, I’ll skate in it,” Nina said so trying on the skates with joy.

She saw Nina stand up from her seat, Pocco nodded after carefully examining the ‘Bladed Shoes’ she had made.

“I think the balance is fine. What do you think?”

“I hope it will be midwinter soon.”

Pocco smiled brightly at Nina’s words.

“I’m curious to see how this is used to.”

“Hmm, maybe this can be a commodity, too? Lorocomo might like it.”

Pocco made an unhappy face letting out a grunt.

She knew that she had to sell, but there seemed to be a strange quarrel between her an artisan who sought perfection, and the merchant who pursued profit.

“Thank you, Master of the Forge.”

“It was great to be able to create something new with so much effort.”

At Pocco’s words, Nina smiled broadly and came out with the skates in her arms.

The way smoke rises from Pocco’s cute workshop was always lovely, like the landscaping picture of a cozy garden.

‘Mimina is truly amazing.’

Nina excitedly nodded her head.

Just then, two people walking on the garden path on the other side came into view. It was a subtle mood where Nina was contemplating whether she should pretend to know or pass by.

Then the other person raised their arms and blew her worries away.

“Nina!”

Fiona started running even though there was a considerable distance. It seems that her way of running while holding the skirt was quite the old habit.

Edgar quickly followed her at a rapid pace.

Nina and Fiona became friends after the Wave of Light developed a sense of solidarity. Naturally, Fiona was comfortable with Nina, and so was Nina.

“Fiona, you will fall if you run like that.”

Fiona, who stopped to run at Nina’s words, smiled broadly.

“I won’t fall for something like this. Where have you been?”

“In the workshop.”

Fiona’s complexion darkened as she glanced at the skates.

“Are you fighting in these things?”

Hearing Fiona’s words, Nina corrected her and said, ‘Hold on, what is my image like for everyone?’

“No, I wear it on ice.”

“On top of the ice?”

Nina, who saw her puzzled face promised to show it to Fiona later on, then she looked at Edgar.

He showed a polite greeting, but awkwardness could still be seen.

Even though Randell looked around Edgar with his magic, he kept repeating ‘Suspicious.’ Fiona defended Edgar and like that, she had a fight with Randell again.

The two fought every time they met.

When Edgar tried to take her side, Randell would always say, ‘Your broken logic doesn’t work, so now you called your Brother to gang up on me? Aww, so scary, I’m so, so afraid.’ Fiona menacingly opened her eyes to Edgar who was about to take her side.

Randell sarcastically called Edgar ‘Princess’. When Nina asked why he was a princess, he replied, ‘He was rescued from being locked up in a tower.’ Nina couldn’t even laugh or cry.

Strangely, it was even more so because Fiona looked sympathetic. ‘Well, Fiona is definitely the Hero.’

She was courageous, energetic, and had an indomitable will, so she fits right in the category of a warrior.

Randell’s sarcasm made Edgar’s face blush so much that Nina wondered if a human could be so red.

In the end, Randell said, ‘I think you’re alright. Princess.’ And handed over a certificate of acceptance to Edgar, who could be comfortably by Fiona’s side from then on.

‘Princess…….’

The thought about it always brought a smile, but biting her lips, Nina asked.

“Any inconveniences?”

“Nothing at all. We may be entrusted with the operation of the orphanage by the Chancellor.”

“Oh?”

“It was originally the temple orphanage, but High Priest Ashton, no, Sir Ashton said he would help too.”

Seems like she’s quite familiar with what’s happening over there.

“Figures.”

The growth of the numbers was never stopping, so it’s too much for Sir Louis to take care by himself.

Wouldn’t Fiona be a great orphanage director? As Nina nodded, Fiona asked back with a worried look.

“Is everything okay so far? It’s more suspicious because it’s peaceful.”

“I think so too. But it is better to rest when we can.”

Otherwise, you will not be able to fight when the trouble really begins.

At Nina’s words, Fiona nodded her head with a stiff face and turned her gaze back to the garden.

The garden that Mimina put so much effort into was truly beautiful.

Looking at it, Fiona said.

“When I look at the garden, I can understand what Mimina was saying at that time. It’s really pretty.”

“Right?”

Nina nodded her head and the talk continued.

“The day after tomorrow, we will depart for the Duke of Brevan.” (Fiona)

“The Duke has waited a long time.”

“It seems like it took time to prepare in many ways.”

Fiona had a laid-back face. She didn’t have the same nervousness or anxiety as before because now she knows her abilities and believes in them.

“Have a safe trip.”

“Edgar is going with me.”

“Well-.”

Nina made a strange noise and Edgar said.

“I hope you don’t think that my skills are that bad.”

Nina laughed at the words that accompanied his sigh.

“Hey, it’s not about that. But I’ll add a few more knights.”

Edgar nodded his head slowly. He was not an idiot enough to say he alone would be alright.

“Let’s have a cup of tea together.”

At Fiona’s words, Nina shook her head.

“Sorry, I have some matters to attend to.”

“Then how about the afternoon?”

“Good.”

“Then let’s do that.”

Fiona was delighted, saying, ‘I made an appointment with the busy Leader.’

No matter how the affair with Lucrezia ended, it seemed that Fiona had already settled everything inside her heart and decided to take a new step forward.

‘Thank god.’

“Then see you later.”

Nina waved her hand and crossed the garden.

Mimina created a flowing stream using the water flowing into the silver lake.

Beautiful round boulders were reflected under the transparent stream that had a moderate depth, and carefully selected flowers naturally blooming along the waterside.

Lovely fish were playing through the current and there was a round and simple arched stone bridge that passes across such a stream.

The stream goes underground again and supplies water to the garden here and there, some of which are wrapped in trees and thickets like secret ponds.

There were a lot of hidden spaces like this in the large garden, and Mimina enjoyed finding them.

Nina passed through the trees and crossed the narrow grass path that was quite the ambiguous road.

Jean was standing in a pond that reached his waist holding a spear.

It was not easy to swing a spear in the water. The more you try to swing it at the same speed as you do in the war, the stronger the resistance.

But Jean was doing it with all his might.
