“Nina!!”

Fiona, who was about to run for a hug, hesitated, but Nina’s side smiled, hugged Fiona, and lifted her up.

“Nina!”

Fiona shouts again, after spinning her round and round a few times Nina put her down.

“I am completely healed now. All in one piece and Strong as always.”

As Nina spoke with confidence, tears spilled from Fiona’s eyes again.

“Be-Because of me-”

“Why is it Fiona’s fault?”

“I, it’s because, hic, hic, I mentioned something weird, sniff…”

“It’s not your fault. Actually, if you think about it, isn’t the villain at fault here?”

It’s all because of that bad guy.

Nina cupped Fiona’s cheeks.

“Don’t cry. Hm?”

Fiona’s pale-green eyes, similar to soft blades of grass, looked at Nina. Nodding as if possessed, Nina let her go.

“Nothing can be solved by crying.”

Fiona said resolutely after wiping her tears. Even as her tone returned to normal, her face still showed worry. Nina decided to show her the cured wound.

Thanks to Nina’s terrifying resilience and Kirill’s medication, there was no scar left.

“There is no trace left.”

Fiona closed Nina’s shirt in a hurry with a blushing face.

“You can’t open it carelessly.”

“Sorry.”

Fiona narrowed her eyes when she saw Nina apologizing awkwardly.

“You didn’t show to others that you were all healed like this, did you?”

“I have that much sense…”

Fiona looked more relieved when Nina retorted saying ‘Because we are both girls’.

“Nina doesn’t tend to care much about people’s gender.”

“It’s not like that”

Nina retorted, but Fiona just made a ‘Not convinced’ face.

The atmosphere was further improved by a light argument. Nina asked.

“Are there any inconveniences?”

Fiona tilted her head as if something was wrong with Nina’s respectful tone.

“You can speak comfortably.”

“If Fiona does so.”

“But then…”

She was afraid that she might be considered too shameless, but Nina’s cheerful eyes gave her courage.

“Understood. No, I see.”

“All right.”

Nina had a big smile.

“So, did you feel uncomfortable?”

“Not at all.”

Fiona shook her head. Still, it would have been inconvenient to only stay inside the room.

“Shall we take a walk?”

“Great.”

Fiona was delighted. As soon as they left the room, she knew that secret escorts and surveillance was attached, but Nina pretended not to know.

As they entered the garden, Fiona was in awe.

“It is definitely autumn. The leaves are so pretty.”

“Yes, they really are.”

Nina replied, laughing at the fact that the red color they were seeing wasn’t just from maple tree leaves.

Jean’s hair was definitely not suited for stealth.

The girls walked for a while in silence. They came to the read-end of the castle and arrived at the water basin overlooking the silver lake.

Nina opened her mouth first.

“Edgar is all right.”

Nina smiled at Fiona who looked back fast enough to hear a turning sound

“I asked Randell for it. Oh, now Edgar is with Randell and he said.”

Nina cleared her throat and repeated the words.

“Do you think I will dump my faults on an idiot who has no ability to realize what she did or not?’”

Fiona frowned and laughed when Nina imitated Randell’s sarcastic tone.

“Really…I’m very glad to hear that.”

“Right? Now Edgar will be called a ‘Stupid Princess’ by Randell, isn’t it sad that he won’t be able to refute it from now on?”

At Nina’s words, Fiona burst into laughter.

After her hysterical laughter subsided, she now began to cry with trembling shoulders. Nina wrapped her arms around Fiona’s shoulders.

She handed a handkerchief. Fiona wiped away her tears and looked up.

“Thank you, Nina.”

“Don’t mention it.”

Nina smiled. Fiona looked at Nina and said.

“Why did they target Nina?”

“Hm?”

“I thought that if they had to kill someone, it would be me. I mean….”

“Oh, no. I’m sure it’s normal to think so.”

Nina nodded her head too.

It would have been more reasonable to aim for the one-of-a-kind with purification skills than for someone with several spirits.

Besides, if it wasn’t for Nina then, wouldn’t the same happen if Fiona used her powers on Edgar?

If Edgar had stabbed Fiona, as he did Nina, the damage would be terrifying.

In many ways, it was the right decision to stab Fiona.

‘But because the other person is obsessed with me, this happened.’

No, actually, rather than being obsessed with Nina, it would be accurate to say that he was obsessed with the ‘Great Spirit’.

“There must be several reasons for that. Never mind.”

At Nina’s words, Fiona looked back with a strange expression. Nina saw Fiona like that.

It’s no use saying this now, but if Fiona had been stabbed, she would have died on the spot.

‘I’m alive because it’s the body the spirits gave me. Thinking back on it, it was quite a serious crisis.’

Let’s be very careful in the future.

Nina nodded inwardly. After their walk, Fiona’s face was much brighter.

Around the evening, Nina received a letter. It was a letter from Randell saying he would come in the middle of the night.

They had only met once since Nina had come to her senses, and all the news she got from him was about Edgar.

“I’m glad he contacted me anyway.”

Nina was relieved that he was not buried somewhere.

“By the way, how did the letter come?”

Without passing through the servants, the letter was quietly placed on the desk in Nina’s room.

There were no signs that anyone came in to deliver it.

‘A magical mail delivery?’

This is quite convenient and Lorocomo would surely covet it. Nina folded the letter back, but it turned into silvery powder and disappeared.

“Oh my gosh.”

The silvery powder spread beautifully like small sparks of fire.

“Wow…….”

The glittering powder falling into her hands was as beautiful as snow crystals. But before they hit the floor, they all vanished in midair.

‘Figures.’

A wizard-like letter, Nina laughed.

‘It’s also wizard-like to come in the middle of the night.’

The story of meeting on the terrace in the middle of the night when everyone was asleep had a thrilling point, like the beginning of an adventure.

As much as she waited, the time went by slowly.

She waited in her bedroom, looking at the clock. Wondering if she should go out a little earlier, Nina quickly changed her clothes.

The night was chilly, and since she doesn’t know what will happen after they meet, she changed into proper outdoor clothes and put on a jacket.

‘Good.’

As soon as Nina opened the door and went out into the hallway, she ran into Adrian.

“Adrian? What are you doing at this hour?”

Surprised, Nina asked, and Adrian looked up and down at her. Anyone could see that she was obviously dressed for going out.

“I think I should ask that?”

Adrian studied Nina’s face intently.

“Where are you going?”

“To see Randell.”

The answer came with the weight of a grain of salt and Adrian’s expression hardened slightly.

“Randell? At this hour?”

“Yes.”

After she answered, Nina was embarrassed.

“Can’t I?”

Adrian looked away. After a moment’s thought, he looked at Nina again.

“It’s not that you can’t, Nina.”

Adrian grinned.

“Come out in 15 minutes.”

“Huh?”

“Come out in 15 minutes.”

“That means…”

“I’m telling you to come out in 15 minutes.”

Adrian reached for the doorframe and Nina was caught between the door and him, much to her dismay.

“I won’t stop you from leaving. But come out in 15 minutes.”

Adrian carefully leaned over to Nina.

“I think I have the right to say this now, right?”

“That’s right.”

Adrian laughed contentedly when Nina spoke.

“Go in.”

At his words, Nina obediently went inside.

‘It’ll be fine.’

More than that is Adrian….jealous……?

Somehow it tickled her stomach. Nina went into the room and opened the window.

A comet was flying across the black night sky.
