“Yernia, look at this! Here!”

Seria tried to catch Yernia’s attention.

When Yernia turned her head, the shutter clicked.

Yernia had worn a wedding dress while holding a bouquet.

Her gorgeous updo made her look as pretty as the main character, except for the awkward smile.

“Where did you get that?”

“I borrowed it from a reporter.”

A daily reporter, who was crying behind Seria,  approached them.

“Did a reporter come in?”

Now, the  public had focused on her after she got married to the Marquess of Lecardo.

Yernia didn’t want attention.

The guests’ presence couldn’t be helped but she was determined to  stop the reporter from snooping around.

She had already talked to Cassian about this, as well.

He told her that the reporters’ access was strictly controlled.

How did this person get in?

“Anyway, I got a picture of you thanks to him. This is good. Maybe I should buy a camera like this.”

Seria took pictures of Yernia like a madman.

Yernia tried to discourage her multiple times and told her to stop taking pictures, but her sister continued non-stop and told her to be patient instead.

At that point, she just let Seria do what she wanted.

After Seria took as many pictures until she was satisfied, she paid for the camera.

Bewildered, the reporter’s jaw dropped at the huge cash in his hands, and he got kicked out of the premises.

“I bought you a wedding present.”

Seria sat next to Yernia with a smug look on her face.

Yernia, who was already on the sofa, watched her curiously.

“Cheers!”

Seria handed her a drinking bottle with sparkling liquid on it.

“Seria, you shouldn’t take that out here!”

Freaking out, Evan closed the bride’s waiting room.

“Why? What is it, brother?”

Yernia had no idea what it contained but she still opened the lid.

Well, there’s no scent.

Seria pulled her tongue out when Yernia smelled it.

“You’ll need that today, sis.”

“Is it alcohol? I don’t think so.”

Glaring at Yernia in frustration, Seria whispered in her ear.  “It would come in handy on the first night.”

When  Yernia finally understood her meaning, she replied,  “Take this back. It’s useless.”

“You don’t know much about people, Yernia. Just don’t come to me crying and all.”

Yena didn’t think that would happen to Cassian and her.

It wasn’t like their first night had never crossed her mind.

Since they were already friends before marriage, she assumed that Cassian would agree not to adhere to a couple’s tradition.

Aristocrats had visited them in the waiting room and congratulated them face to face.

Yernia wanted the wedding to end as soon as possible.

Hopefully, their marriage would happen so fast before she knew it.

Yernia got so busy preparing for her marriage with Cassian.

It all began with deciding the venue of wedding ceremony.

She thought she would rather die than choose which dress shop should design her wedding dress.

Yernia didn’t even know what to do with the wedding ring.

She finally decided to hold their  wedding ceremony at the temple while the most famous designer in the whole Empire was in charge of her wedding gown.

She heard that many engaged couples fight during the wedding preparations, and Yernia could relate.

Yernia and Cassian fought without fail.

“Cassian, I only have ten fingers–”

“You can wear two rings for each hand.”

“Are you kidding me?”

She knew that the engagement and wedding rings were different, but her future husband had brought her twenty rings because he ‘couldn’t choose one.

Yes, it wasn’t even an exaggeration on her part.

In addition to that, they fought over the design of her wedding gown.

“Make it a little less beautiful. It shouldn’t be too much.”

Cassian refused her request, saying that the wedding gown was already pretty and satisfying to look at.

She became so dumbfounded as more problems arose that she decided to withdraw from the marriage a the last minute.

“I won’t do it if you don’t make my wedding gown simple, Cassian.”

“What? You already agreed that we’re getting married.”

“It’s not about my choice whether I want to marry you or not, Cassian. Nothing seemed to go my way!” Yernia muttered, her face upset.

Cassian said grimly. “What if someone takes you away from me?”

What kind of crap is this?

“You’re not making any sense to me.”

“I want to be on your side, Yernia.”

Cassian knew it himself that he wasn’t making any sense.

Worried about the fact that things might not go according to his plan, he immediately asked the designer to make  the dress that Yernia wanted.

The designer had bloodshot eyes when he showed the new wedding gown to them.

“So?” Yernia wasn’t going to let it slide.

This marriage might not go her way, so she wanted to have control over the wedding preparations instead.

“I’m sorry.”

“…….”

“Others might snatch you away if they see that I’m not giving you the best on our wedding day. Plus, we’re getting married, so we should prepare together, don’t you think?”

She couldn’t care less about who fell in love with her.

Yet, why was Cassian making her feel nervous all of a sudden?

Cassian was unlikely to lower his head and apologize like this.

He was making her heart soft from his remorse.

It appeared like Cassian was more serious about this marriage than she thought, as if he would do everything to make her his wife.

Thankfully, they had a little fight on their wedding day.

“…….”
