“Nian Nian!” Shen Yin pushed open the door and looked at the empty house. Her heart sunk.
Worry made her panic. She had actually been fooled by that woman, Yun Shan, in a moment of carelessness!
Shen Nian was definitely not with her!
She was not in the mood to teach Yun Shan a lesson. If Nian Nian had been taken away by someone else, the consequences would be much more serious.
She leaned against the cold wall and subconsciously slid down. She covered her head and cried in pain.
She really did not know where to find Shen Nian. If something really happened to Nian Nian, what was the point of living?
“Yin Yin, look downstairs. Many bodyguards have arrived. That car looks familiar. Is that the Maserati that parked at the entrance of your police station?”

“I’ll go down and take a look.”
Shen Yin steadied her shaking body and forced herself to regain her usual calm. By the time she sauntered over to the car, Lian Jing was already tired of waiting.
The chauffeur tactfully got out of the car and opened the back door for her. Shen Yin immediately saw the man’s angry eyes in the shadows. His lips were tightly pursed and he exuded a terrifying aura.
“Miss Shen, please go in.”
The chauffeur urged her in a low voice. After Shen Yin got into the car, he gently closed the door and went away for a smoke.
Only the two of them were left in the car. Even a pin drop could be heard. Shen Yin was unusually uneasy as she leaned against the car door. She tried her best to stay away from Lian Jing as far as the limited space allowed.
Her actions seemed to provoke Lian Jing. He snorted coldly, his expression livid. “Why are you in such a hurry to break up with me?”
“No.” Shen Yin wanted to deny it, but she suddenly realized that this was actually the best opportunity to get rid of Lian Jing.
Although Yun Shan had forced her into saying such things on the phone, in reality, these words were sincere.
She had already learned her limits. No matter how outstanding she was in her field, she would never be in the same world as Lian Jing.
Just like how Lian Jing’s Auntie subconsciously revealed her disgust when she found out that Shen Yin was just a forensic pathologist. If she really agreed to be with him, even if she could ignore the opinions of the outside world, Nian Nian would definitely be hurt.

“I…” His gaze made Shen Yin feel uneasy and she subconsciously touched the car door. However, the man suddenly pulled her arm over and forcefully planted a kiss on her lips.
She pushed him away forcefully, but he easily pinned her arm behind her back. She wanted to open her mouth to say something, but he seized the opportunity and his dexterous tongue instantly reached in to wantonly play with her mouth.
Lian Jing covered her mouth as if he was venting his anger. He was no longer gentle and warm. He wanted to teach her a lesson for speaking so recklessly. He wanted to see if she still dared to say that she would never see him again!
