78 Plot Twist
Shen Yin walked into Lu Feng’s house and carefully observed this seemingly ordinary but evil place.
The house was divided into two rooms and a hall. The rooms were small, but looked spacious.
Shen Yin carefully checked Lu Feng’s room and found that the victim’s clothes and various tools had been tidied away. There was no trace of Lu Feng’s existence in the small bedroom.
It really lived up to the saying that once the person was gone, the place would be left empty.
Shen Yin felt sorrowful.
After closing the bedroom door, Shen Yin immediately saw a bloody fruit knife on the dining table in the living room. She put on her gloves and solemnly put the knife into an evidence bag. She followed the tiny bloodstains on the ground all the way to the door.
“What are you doing?”
Shen Yin was startled by the voice at the door. She looked up and met Wu Zheng’s puzzled eyes.
“I found a fruit knife in the living room. I’ll bring it back for a DNA test.” Shen Yin heaved a sigh of relief, but her sharp ears caught the sound of movement downstairs.
“Who is it?” She frowned and ran out, but there was no one downstairs.
“Where’s Meng Heng?” Shen Yin asked Wu Zheng, who had followed her downstairs.

Shen Yin nodded. She got into her car and waved at Wu Zheng. “Captain, I’ll go back to the police station to conduct the test first. I’ll inform you immediately when the results are out.”
Wu Zheng frowned and nodded. They were about to close the case when this unfortunate incident had happened and caught them off guard. If he had listened to Shen Yin earlier, this big problem might not have happened.
However, no matter how he sighed inwardly, it had happened. He could only think of a way to resolve it.
Team Three, which had heaved a collective sigh of relief, was now confused.
After comparing the DNA, Shen Yin quickly handed the report to Wu Zheng. The bloodstains were indeed from Lu Feng’s mother, Lin Hui. However, the scattered bloodstains at the crime scene indicated that Lin Hui had not been seriously injured. Moreover, she walked out of the house voluntarily instead of being dragged away.

She was filled with suspicion when got into the car only to be greeted by Zhong Xin’s smiling face. “Miss Shen, President Lian asked me to send you home. He asked you to wait up for him tonight. He has something to give you in person.”
“What is it?” Shen Yin asked curiously. It must be something extraordinary to make Lian Jing act so mysteriously.
“I wouldn’t know. You’ll have wait for President Lian to tell you personally.” Zhong Xin turned back with a smile. He had no intention of revealing anything to Shen Yin. If he ruined the President’s plan, he would definitely have to pay for it.
When she arrived at the Lian residence, Shen Nian was waiting at the door with a worried expression. When he saw her, he quickly pounced on her. He had tears in his eyes and looked like a rabbit that had been bullied.

Shen Yin was stunned for a moment and asked him in confusion, “Why shouldn’t I go to work? Did something happen? Did someone from the Lian family bully you?”
Shen Nian shook his head and explained timidly, “I accidentally entered the police system just now and saw the case that you’re working on, with the dismembered body. Those idiots at the police station caught the wrong person. The real murderer is still at large. I’m worried that the bad people will target you.”
