"That Zekken…" Hekatra frowned, noticing a Zekken that hovered in the air ten metres above her, slowly reaching the ground as it looked at her, tearing up. When she looked at the eyes of the Zekken, she noticed that it had long since lost sanity, only approaching her out of sheer instinct that seemed to have taken root within its subconscious.

"The Zekkens are territorial creatures…" Recalling the same statement she had uttered before, Hekatra teared up, "So, until the end, you have all been loyal to our Great Empire."

Wiping her tears, she spoke, explaining the situation to Compass Carburettor, "Even though they have lost sanity, they had once served me. And that has been ingrained deep into their instincts thanks to the character of a Zekken."

Though, she didn't need to explain anything. After all, she sensed through Secret Society that all of them were loyal to her, irrespective of their gender.

Unlike Compass Carburettor, she was unable to store Mental Energy in her. So, while condensing the symbol of Secret Society, she had to wait until the amount constantly poured in while she was condensing. It was like holding a cup in the rain while waiting for it to be filled.

But now, the Mental Energy influx was enough for her to finish condensing a symbol after only ten seconds had passed. With bated breath, she placed the symbol on the head of the Zekken that gazed at her with curiosity.

As the symbol seeped into it, taking effect, the Zekken's eyes slowly regained their lustre before tearing up. Immediately, it morphed forms, turning into a human, tearing up as she jumped towards Hekatra, enveloping her in a hug, "My Lady!"

She began to cry when Hekatra patted her gently, "There, there, welcome back!"

"I never lost hope. I knew our Great Empire would recover from disaster." She wiped her tears, hurriedly distancing herself from Hekatra before pointing at the other Zekkens calmly hovering in the air, "Please, my Lady. Save everyone! We have been waiting even after our minds had vanished."

"I'll be glad to do so." Hekatra nodded before asking Compass Carburettor, "Do you wish to do it?"

"No, I cannot do that even if I wanted to. Their loyalty is towards you, not me." Compass Carburettor raised his hands, saying, "Besides, it makes no difference whether I or you do it."

"Alright!" Humming a cheerful tune, Hekatra began to make the Zekkens into members one after another.

To hope for this eventful day, a lot of Zekkens had been camping at the entrance, only heading deeper into the dungeon to eat their fill before returning. It was what they had been doing for decades while their sanity existed.

After that, it had simply become their routine. And thankfully for them, it paid fruit. Once everyone in the place had been made into members, they took flight. Though, a small war had erupted as they competed against themselves to see who would give Hekatra a lift.

'It seems she is adored by her subjects.' Compass Carburettor concluded. It was an interesting choice of emotions. After all, there were countless Kings back on Earth.

Among them, there were wise kings, dictators, trashes, etc. But, the greed in people never diminished. Even though the level of greed varied based on the era and the prosperity of the place, the emotions a subject showed towards their ruler wasn't pure.

But here, it was different. Rather, this level of emotion was hardly present in a Kingdom like Entropica. The case was the same in other Kingdoms too. If the ruler was a tyrant, there was a chance the people would rebel.

And in Empires, the emotions the subjects had towards their ruler was borderline devotion. It was as if the royalty were enigmatic people. It wasn't entirely pure though, but the notion of rebellion probably won't happen unless the royalty was the cruellest of rulers.

The tolerance the people had towards them was greater than what those in the Kingdoms had.

But in the Great Megwest Empire, the Great Emperor was treated no different to a God. And worthy of being addressed with such a title, the Great Emperor was that great of a being, both in character, ability, and power.

Here, it was pure devotion.

Compass Carburettor was unable to understand just why something like this was possible.

Once the war died down, all the Zekkens took to the air. And while they were travelling, Compass Carburettor took the chance to transmit the message to Hekatra, expressing his doubts.

"Oh, that's actually simple." Hekatra smiled, "If you consider humans as Dungeon Monsters, everything would make sense."

"That's…" His eyes widened as Compass Carburettor shuddered, unable to digest this line of thought.

"Consider humans as Dungeon Monsters of a Level 5 Dungeon. So, a King is nothing more than a strong Dungeon Monster in this case. So, they don't garner any submission from the other Dungeon Monsters." Hekatra spoke.

She then chuckled upon seeing his mood sour, "An Emperor is something like the overseer of a Level. So, they garner some influence over those in the respective Level. But as for the Great Emperor…"

"Dungeon Boss." Compass Carburettor nodded.

"Indeed," Hekatra acknowledged, "So, the Great Emperor's words are absolute. But, as to the conditions that one needs to attain to wield this authority, the range of influence, etc. aren't entirely known. But one thing is for sure."

She said in pride, "Every single Great Emperor of the Great Megwest Empire wielded this authority. There wasn't any generation where the ruler of our Great Empire didn't have this authority. That's why our Great Empire had stood tall for countless millennia. No other Great Empire has managed to do this."

"They had at least a generation or two where their Great Emperors didn't possess such an authority."

"This doesn't sit well with me." Compass Carburettor sighed, unable to digest that the minds of people could be subtly influenced like this. It wasn't an influence by taking advantage of someone's naivety or anything of the sort. But this was on a level similar to a System's ability.

'Wait!' He suddenly thought of something, 'Did I achieve this state too? Is that how I manifested Secret Society? But, all I did was make Duchess loyal to me by using the System Fragment of Slave Harem. I didn't achieve it naturally.'

He then asked, "Do you have records related to this? I feel like my Secret Society is somehow connected to it."

"We'll have to check them later. Too much information might have been damaged due to the over century of no maintenance." Hekatra replied, "Though, I think I might have an answer to your thoughts."
