Usually, the Sheng family doted on her a lot, so questioned why Nie Jiqing helped Ye Zhi this time.
As the car was getting closer to the Sheng Mansion, Sheng Man was feeling nervous. Even her heartbeat started to speed up. She didn’t know why but she felt that things under her control were gradually getting out of track.
When she arrived at the mansion, Sheng Man was panicking.
As Sheng Man got out of the car, a sudden gust of wind hit her. Although it was only early winter, she felt the cold chill in her bones.
Sheng Man took a deep breath and opened the door of Sheng Mansion.
Just as she entered the living room, Sheng Man saw Nie Jiqing sitting on the sofa. Nie Jiqing seemed to be waiting for her arrival.
“Mom.” Sheng Man’s voice was filled with a little unease.
The moment Sheng Man saw Nie Jiqing, all her anger suddenly disappeared.
Nie Jiqing heard Sheng Man’s voice and turned to look at her. Her eyes looked very calm. She didn’t seem angry, but she didn’t greet Sheng Man when she entered.
