Yvonne was here as well, but she remained on her two and stared absent-mindedly at the floor.

He didn't blame Yvonne at all, and he found countless excuses for her loss. She was a player with such a charm that even the king was muddled by her appearance.
If she had her troops, if she had enough experience with her portals, and the list went on!
Julian's eyes shifted to a stern and serious one after he glanced toward his children and people, "We won't lose this event. Initially, I planned to invite players into our ranks, but they are all more than disappointing. The only valuable players sided with the ascended or had their own ambitions.
That is why we are skipping phases 2 and 3... Just show the world that they can't escape... Show them how their ascended are limited! Turn their hearts black!" The King slammed his specter into the ground.
And that was when his children and troops answered, "As you wish, His Majesty!"
The self-created island quickly teemed with black dots.

He killed many troops and brought his real personality out for viewers. If no one knew about him beforehand, they knew now, and they were well aware of how crazy Reylin was!

Flame Waifu's hands clenched his neck. She cried and called him out, but her whole body refused to listen to her.
Only her lips and voice still belonged to her!
Reylin stopped as he couldn't focus with his neck squeezed by his own ally.
He turned his eyes to her, "At last, my troops gave up on me."
"Master! That's not-" Flame Waifu tried to explain herself, but even her voice no longer belonged to her.
She squeezed his neck stronger, aiming to erase the existence of her beloved!
Reylin chuckled, "I know it's not your wish. Still, I can't let you kill me, can I?" That was when Reylin slapped his Flame Waifu away.
She dropped onto the ground, then floundered as if not believing what her master had done to her.
Reylin just glanced at her, then Flame Waifu's body disappeared.
She joined new ranks on the other side.
Those new ranks were all troops gathered from Reylin, Camila, War Shield, and Quicky Sweepy!
"Give me back my people! What kind of event is this?! It's a scam! My daughter taught me about the scams!" War Shield howled.
He explained what the market scam was.
Everyone around him, including Reylin, stared at him with knitted brows.
The whole stream burst out laughing.
"My own troops can't deal with me," Reylin ignored the player and said out loud, "I will ignore them for now and find other players. Do whatever you want."
Camila chimed in, "I will follow you. It started with the battle, but it's not time for us, players, to battle with each other. This whole event is too sus!"
Quicky Sweepy yawned, "We have to complain to the game developers. That kind of event is a scam in the end."
