She sat cross-legged on the ground, similar to her body outside, then asked, "Is the abomination strong enough to destroy the second layer and even the third one?"

Lioness whispered, "The Ascended aren't half-assed if they managed to seal that beast then... The same goes for us, even though time debilitated that monster."

Lioness smiled widely, "I like challenges, Mr. Lion King. Just throw everything at me."
The Lion King nodded, "If you overcome all, you will become the Queen."

A silver-haired beauty grabbed Layla's arm, then gently drew her back to her room.
In that room, Layla lay down on her bed and blankly stared at the ceiling, "E-Eva-"
"Mom!" Eva narrowed her eyes.
"Mom... I barely touched any mana scrolls this week!" Layla beseeched her in-law to let her work!
Alas, Eva shook her head, "It's impossible to pull you away from those scrolls once you start making them. No one other than Reylin will be able to stop by then. And, I am not going to call my son!"

Well, her stomach was already big, and she would give birth in just two months. In the beginning, Layla could casually study and do her job. Still, Crown Momma no longer allowed her to do any work!
