But, as if he had expected it, Krune's Hunger Law took action first, devouring Faunkill's ability as the maggots spread around, planting seeds all throughout the God King's law.
These seeds were hard to detect as they were masked to camouflage themselves into the law they were placed upon. Hence, no probing methods could deal with them.

Therefore, even though he had already recovered to his peak strength by now, the God King wasn't able to take action.
