Cain, sitting on a folding chair, raised his legs and spun around, extending his arm holding a cup as far as he could, magically made hot water and dropped it into the cup.
“Ouch!”
The hot water splashed onto his hand. He switched the cup to his other hand and shook the hot water-covered hand, sending droplets flying, and then spun around again to face the table.
“I’m so lazy,” he said.
“It’s to minimize splashing damage.”

I don’t think we should have a preconceived notion that the Demon King is a bad guy. Even if Diana becomes the Demon King, doesn’t that mean she will do bad things?
