The next day I immediately came to the Dragon Forest.

I'm already used to going to the forest, and I'm arriving early.

This time I came alone. I asked my sister to take care of Pi-chan, and when I told her to take care of him, she stayed behind as I expected.

I miss him a little bit, big brother.

This time we wanted to focus on practicing our hunting skills, so we quickly went to collect the mushrooms.

We kept the same amount of firewood and herbal mushrooms as usual, but reserved more fruit. This is because you can't always pick them every time you come, and they won't go bad if you keep them in the item box.

Normally magic detection was mainly on the ground, but since I found out that there are bird-based monsters, I decided to examine the sky as well.

I hadn't noticed them until now, but I felt some birds flying in the sky.

It didn't seem to be monsters by the sense of magic, but I was nervous because I had forgotten that there were creatures in the sky as well.

I shuddered at the thought of this being a monster and being attacked when it came before me.

Since this was a practice hunt, we dug several pitfalls around a fruit tree.

We made a hole with a radius of 30 cm and a depth of about 1 meter.

It took some time, but we managed to make it by magic.

We marked the holes with stones so that we wouldn't forget where we dug.

We dug a hole in each tree, and near the last tree, we practiced the bora.

At first I tried to throw the bola.

My first throw was straight, but I didn't have the speed or distance.

It was probably because of my "throwing" skills that I flew straight. It was the result of my previous efforts to keep throwing rocks.

Speed and distance are simply a result of lack of muscle strength.

For what it's worth, I'm only a three year old.

I'm sure you'll be able to find a way to make it work.

I'm going to try wrapping the stone with wind to make it fly away.

The result is a failure. The speed is up, but it doesn't spread, it just throws the stone.

In this case, casting a spell directly on it may not work.

Next, I made a cylindrical object out of the wind. I adjusted it so that the wind would come out of it vigorously. It's like a catapult. I plan to throw the baller into it to increase the speed.

This method worked well. But this time, the accuracy rate went down. When using this, it would be better to use three Borahs. It is also too fast and may be difficult to use in the forest.

I'm not sure I'll be able to find a way to make it work.

Also, the three bolas are used in the forest, so there's a high chance of losing them. So I made some new ones by attaching a stone with direct grounding magic to the strong ivy that grows in the forest.

After that, I found the ivy, made a bola, found the bird's reaction, and hunted the ivy all over again.

However, the results were disastrous. After all, it is difficult for an amateur to hunt suddenly.

I gave up hunting with the bola and went to check the pit. I went to check it out, but nothing had changed anywhere and nothing was hanging in the balance.

I can't help it because I'd never checked the animal's reaction to begin with.

Next time I come back, it might be a good idea to set up a pit a little deeper.

Thinking about this, I slumped my shoulders and went home.
