When my sister was satisfied with the queen, I started feeding her. The wolf is a carnivore, so I gave her the rabbit and bird I had caught earlier.

The queen was puzzled at first, but slowly began to eat the rabbits.

When she finished the first rabbit and was about to move on to the second, the cubs were caught by the smell of the food and started to wake up.

The queen stopped eating the second rabbit and brought it back to them. The wolves began to eat in unison.

Since there were only two rabbits, I suggested the birds since the Queen had stopped eating them, but they were hesitant. I asked her why and she said she didn't know if they were good because she didn't usually eat them.

It's true that it would be hard for a wolf to hunt a bird.

When I told him that birds were good meat, he started eating the birds too.

But I look at the wolves' food and think.

There's not enough meat.

Up until now, only Peechan needed meat, so hunting was enough for her. Rather, they were able to hunt extra so they could eat meat in the orphanage.

But one adult wolf and three baby wolves. If that was every day, there would be an overwhelming lack of meat.

This might be a good time to talk about the item box as well as magic and focus on the hunt.

And maybe I should take the queen on the hunt with me.

We decided to wait for the wolves to finish eating and head back to the orphanage.

It's hard to hunt when there are cubs around, and we can't pick them in the same place.

On the way back, I asked the queen why she was injured.

Well, it was a rough conversation, a sort of telepathic one with the squire.

According to her, she had gone out to practice hunting with a little wolf and came across an adventurer, and she ran away while protecting the little wolf and ended up in that situation.

Moreover, it seems that the adventurer was only targeting and taunting the little wolf.

What a vicious adventurer. No, perhaps this is the rattling adventurer the gatekeepers' soldiers were talking about.

Then I asked if they had a father, but I heard that these little wolves don't have a father. They are wolves spawned by magic, it is said.

I asked if wolves would live in packs, but it seems that they were originally lone wolves. That's kind of cool.

Incidentally, Pi and Mew don't seem to know their parents either. We don't even know how the monsters are born in the first place.

As we were talking about this, we came to the town.

As I approached the town's gates, I could see the soldiers guarding the gates on alert. Of course, it's natural, because the number of squires is different from the morning.

Besides, you probably think they're squires, but they're not wearing the red scarf that marks them out.

''Oi, monks, is that grey wolf your squire?''

I got close to the gate and was approached by the soldier who guarded the gate.

'Yes, sir! I became a squire in the Dragonwood today.

'Another squire? Or is that little wolf too?

"No, the little wolf is different, but since the parent wolf is a follower, it's harmless!

Well, he's a little wolf, so he's okay? Why don't you wear your demon's mark, just in case? Like I said in the morning, I'm starting to see more and more of the rattlers!

I understand. We'll keep the little wolf out of the orphanage as long as we can.

That's the best thing to do. I'll tell my boys that the gray wolf is now a squire.

Please!

Woff.

Oh, then you can go through!

And so we made it safely into the town.
