I fooled him by saying that the reason we didn't meet at my grandfather's house was for the sake of the magic tools.

When I looked in the direction of her running, I saw that the old men were already there.

When she arrived at Sakuya-chan's place, her sister was happy to hug Sakuya-chan. Sakuya-chan looks happy too.
The grandfather and grandmother are smiling at the two of them.

We caught up with them and said hello to the old men.

I cleaned off the branches of the tree. Grandpa had cut the tree as it was, so the branches were stuck to it.
I removed the leaves from the branches and tied them together in a crisscross pattern with sturdy-looking branches.
Stick a few of these around the perimeter of the tree, and you've got a perch for Py-chan and his friends!
There are a few trees around, but we didn't have any nearby, so I felt sorry for them, so they must have been happy to see me.
I'm thinking of taking it to the orphanage, too...
