The first thing I did was to choose a tree as a base point, and then I made a few stones to mark the base. I don't have a map or compass, so I think this kind of thing will be important.

Next, I tried to detect the magic power. Since there is no magic power that moves within the range of our senses, there will be no monsters or people. I'll have to do this on a regular basis.

Then, let's go collect!

I look around on the ground for dead trees. Then, I put an appraisal on the grass I was interested in. After a short walk, we found some medicinal herbs and herbs. It's a bad idea to let them rot, so I'll end up picking up some of them.

Come to think of it, is the item box a time-lapse type? Or is it the time-stop type? Let's put some medicinal herbs in it and see how it goes.

After a little while in the forest, some dead trees are starting to fall. I'll put a lot of this in the item box as it won't rot if it's not wet or anything.

I concentrated on picking up firewood and suddenly realized that I had gone quite far inside. I couldn't see the edge of the forest anymore.

I hurriedly went back the way I came and managed not to get lost. ...Come to think of it, I forgot to do the magic detection, too...

This time, I'd like to set up an area of action as far as the edge of the forest is visible. And of course, don't forget to detect it.

I did this for about an hour or so, and was able to pick up a good amount of stuff.

I moved to the edge of the forest and took a rest. It will be about noon time. Unlike usual today, today we are moving around because we are hungry. In the afternoon, let's find something to eat!

Thinking about what we can collect in the forest.

Fruit, nuts, and of course, mushrooms. And then some kind of leafy greens? Maybe I can find something like a yam if I look for it.

I'll have to check the trees from now on, too, while I'm walking around.

After the break, we returned to the tree at the base point. This time I would go deeper into the forest from the base point. We couldn't actually find anything at the edge. I will mark the tree with a stone while keeping an eye on it. It is dangerous to go too far into the forest, so when I did not find anything, I went back to the base point, made a base point again at a distance and went deep into the forest, and repeated.

After a few more attempts, I found a fruit that turned into a tree! Upon evaluation, it looks like an edible fruit. It looks like an apple, but it's pink. I climbed the tree and picked one and ate it. It's a little sour, but it's sweet and delicious. After I finished eating them, I harvested about 20 for the orphanage and another 20 for the item box.

I didn't want to take them all, as some animals might eat them and the item box might go bad.

I went back to the base point and made a marker where the fruit was. I hoped I could take some again the next time I came back.

After that we went back and forth between the base point and the forest several times, this time we found a potato. We found two kinds of potatoes, one that looked like yams and the other that looked like potatoes. I had never seen a yam before, but potatoes have appeared many times on our table. I wondered if it would be possible to make these into seed potatoes at the orphanage.

Finally, I found an orange-like fruit.

We confirmed that we could eat it in our appraisal and tasted it. It also tasted like an orange. We decided to secure more of this and finish exploring the forest. I was too enthusiastic to return home late. Yikes!

I also marked the orange base point and hurried back home.

The carriage passed me several times on the way back, but it was getting dim, so it was easier to hide than it was in the morning.

By the time I arrived in town, the sun had set and I could hear many voices calling out to me from the orphanage.
