After talking with my grandfather and grandmother, I headed out to shop with Charu.

Queen and the other wolf cars are with us, so we're going to buy a little more today.

After buying some flour, vegetables, and condiments, we were at the liquor store.

That's because my grandfather asked me to do so. Yesterday we could only buy a little bit of alcohol, because we also bought flour, but the old man came back to his hometown when he was in the forest, and when he served human alcohol to everyone in the village, it became very popular and he wanted a lot of it.

So he bought two portions of the liquor and the grandfather magically took half of it home with him.

By the way, most of the liquor is fruit wine, which seems to be very popular with the local women.

After the liquor store, we went to the general store.

I asked the old lady to teach me how to make a potion, because she had a lot of herbs but no tools.

We bought a mortar, a pot, and a container for the medicine.

We also bought a few carpentry tools such as saws, chisels, and planers.

I thought it would be a good idea to teach them carpentry and other skills while they practice as adventurers, since the orphanage kids still have a lot of potential to become adventurers.

The one I'm using was originally borrowed from my grandfather, so maybe it was just as well.

After returning to the orphanage, I packed up my belongings and went to hand over the tools and materials to the old lady. After receiving the package, she started to teach the girls how to make the medicine.

Since she couldn't teach them all at once, she also taught them how to sew and work with leather in turn.

The grandfather was still practicing his sword.

Those who were less confident in their physical strength were taking a break and doing woodwork, making chairs, tables, and tableware.

Near the tree, a silver squirrel was making dolls out of wood.

I made swords and wooden shields for the kids who were practicing. I also made arrows in preparation for the hunt and a few sturdy wooden swords to use in the hunt.

The day was over, and the next day it was time for the grandfathers to return home.

We had to take them home with the usual members of the group.

The wolf cart was loaded with flour and alcohol in a well-balanced manner. Grandfather had gone to buy alcohol even as he was getting ready. How much did he buy?

While we were walking, Cruz-kun was running around away from the wolf car and Ilya was practicing aiming at him with a non-pointed arrow.

Just when I had time to spare, I asked my grandfather about the cursed knife.

'Grandpa, how do you break the curse on this cursed knife?'

Why not cast a spell until the curse is broken?

Yeah, I know, but I was using a spell all day yesterday and I can't solve it, and I'm still using it!

That's the trouble with cursed items, isn't it?

Yeah.....

I can't use sacred magic either. You can't use it, can you, boy?

'As expected, you can't use sacred magic. You can only use it if you're a cleric, right?

Precisely those with a divine connection. Not everyone has a divine connection.

There's no such thing as a connection to God...is there?

(Huh? I was reincarnated by a god and came to this world, right? So that means there's a connection to God? Maybe you'll learn sacred magic?)

Well, you just hang in there, my friend.

Yeah.

And that's how we got to the cabin.
