Since our goal was to defeat them, the five ants didn't take long to defeat them.

The strength of the ants is such that even our Mew and the other horn rabbits could beat them one-on-one.

They don't seem to be a good match for the queens who only have claw and bite attacks, but they still wouldn't lose.

According to my grandfather, the problem with the ants is their formic acid attack, their hard shells, and the number of ants that come in a hurry.

But if there's a way to defeat them, they'll come one after another, so it's a good way to gain experience.

We cleaned up the dead ants and prepared for the next battle.

I'm going to cast a granting spell on Cruz and the others while adjusting their magic power, and then I tried using the 'Penetrating Strengthening' granting spell on the horn of the hornrabbit to test it out, and it seemed to be somewhat effective.

Then I would want to use the granting magic on the queens as well.

I didn't know what kind of grant would go well with the bite, so I gave the claws 'Increase Sharpness'.

I'll give the queens more magic power to last longer, and the little wolves are divided into large, medium and small (small is standard) amounts of magic power, and I'll ask them what they think later.

When I finished casting the spell, I decided on a base (a landmark) and went to intercept the ants that had approached in the same group as before.

The ants didn't come together, but in groups of several ants each, so they were surrounded by a large number of ants. We were able to take them down without any problems.

The corpse of the ants is left behind and it becomes easy to come, so I also collected the corpses of the ants that were defeated by the group of queen and child wolves while moving around.

When the queen and child wolf group's granting spells ran out, we met up with them several times to reapply the spells, and when the number of ants we retrieved was over 100, the old man set up a ward to avoid the monsters.

"That's enough for today.

''Ahh, fighting this many is tiring. It's not strong, but its shell is so hard that it can't be helped...

It's a very good idea to have a good idea of what to expect.

We began to dismantle the ants we retrieved while talking about such things.

I'm sure you'll be able to find a way to make the most out of your time with the company.

You can't blame them for keeping it because there are certainly no parts to eat.

When you take a part of the defeated proof part, the core, and a part of the material shell, you can drop the rest into the hole opened by the earth magic. There, Sakuya-chan burned the ants with fire magic.

From what I've heard from Cruz and the other demons, granting magic seems to increase the duration and effectiveness of the magic if you put more magic power into it than you would normally use.

It's a good idea to have a good idea of what you're going to do with it.

Therefore, if you put too much magic power into it, it will become very powerful for a long time, so be careful.

After we finished dismantling the ants, we decided to leave about thirty of them in good condition because we thought we might be able to use them for something in the future, for no particular reason.

On the way home, we stopped by the flower garden and took a few Rainbow Caterpillars as followers. Because the strings of the Rainbow Caterpillar in the orphanage are much finer than I expected. Of course, I'm going to leave them with my grandmother.

After returning to the hut, Sakuya-chan received the honey and ran to her grandmother's place. I wonder if she is going to beg for a piece of honey bread?

We followed Sakuya and left the Rainbow Caterpillar with her grandmother. It's better in the woods than keeping her in an orphanage in terms of food.

Good luck getting her to spit out some yarn!

We said goodbye to our grandfathers and headed home.

At the orphanage, we laughed as the kids lined up at the entrance to greet the honey.
