Silence ensued between Kyran and Anette.

After a few moment, Anette broke the silence and asked, "Tell me. Why do you believe the people where I came from will come here?"

"I... killed someone very important in that plane," Kyran answered uneasily with a bitter smile.

Anette's eyes widened after hearing his answer. A complex emotion flickered on her face that she concealed almost in an instant, but not fast enough for Kyran not to notice.

Seeing her expression made him sigh inwardly.

One of the main reason why Kyran was positive that Anette came from the Myedeo plane was because of the well-known story about the current Kaiser of the ruling empire.

The situation in the Myedeo plane had always been unstable and the ruling empire always changed. This happened because each empire had powerful backing from different Sovereigns. Not Sovereigns of that plane, but from the outside.

The Myedeo plan had never birthed a Sovereign. Thus, foreign Sovereigns had been eyeing their plane for thousands of years due to their abundance of rare plants and herbs. Not to mention, exceptional Alchemy talents.

Because of their magic law, almost everyone in that plane was an Alchemist. They also had a natural affinity to plants and vegetation which provide better medicinal efficacy when harvesting plants and herbs. But all of this were secondary, because what separated a talented Alchemist to those known as Alchemy Child, were their innate magic.

Those born with innate fire magic would definitely become a chosen of their kingdom. However, unbeknownst to all, those with innate earth magic had an advantage over those with innate fire magic.

If an Alchemist had free control over fire during concoction, it would definitely produce high quality pills or potions. But those with innate earth magic could already produce top quality herbs and plants even before they turned it to a pill or potion. During concoction, they could also retain the medicinal efficacy through the help of their magic, because plants and herbs had natural earth magic energies within them.

Nevertheless, an Alchemist who had innate earth magic was almost non-existent. In all of the Myedeo plane, only one tribe had ever produced them.

They were the Solum Tribe.

This tribe also had a unique magic skill where everything they mold could turn into life-like models. Because of their unique magic and skill, many kingdoms had tried to enslave them. When one kingdom proposed to protect them instead, the Chieftain readily agreed to ensure the tribe's future. Unfortunately, the Kaiser of that kingdom had other plans. It was to take the Chieftain's daughter and marry her off to his son.

With their union, the Kaiser was hoping to inherit the Solum Tribe's ability into his own family.

But something happened and the Chieftain's daughter had been abducted. And until now, when the Kaiser's son inherited the throne, he had never married because he was still searching for his missing fiancée.

This was the well-known story of the current Kaiser of the ruling kingdom of the Myedeo plane, the Gramen Kingdom.

,m When Kyran arrived in that plane, he inadvertedly saved the son of the new Chieftain of the Solum Tribe. To show their gratitude, they let him stay and even taught him a lot about Alchemy.

During Kyran's stay, he learnedabout the abducted daughter of the previous Chieftain. This story were somehow a sour topic among them, because the previous Chieftain suffered a lot because of his daughter's abduction. If not for the love the current Kaiser had for the previous Chieftain's daughter, the whole Solum Tribe would have been beheaded for their negligence.

One day, Kyran had seen the image of the abducted daughter and his blood froze. Even his scalp nearly went numb because he recognized the daughter as his godmother, Anette.

She looked younger and had long flowing hair, but Kyran would never mistake the dark violet hair and emerald green eyes of Anette's. It was for this reason that he put two and two together and was convinced that she was originally from that plane and after conquering the tower, she left.

The Chieftain's daughter was not abducted. She left on her own accord.

As for why Kyran ended up killing someone important, it was because Anette's younger sister had been subjected to the current Kaiser's cruelty.

Because Anette had not been found, the current Kaiser took her younger sister as a concubine and had been mistreating her.

Of course Kyran was not stupid enough to kill the current Kaiser. The one he killed was the latter's father, the previous Kaiser.

After that, Kyran helped the Solum Tribe hide. As to where, only Kyran and True Void knew. The Tower did not even know what he did.

With the missing Solum Tribe, every Sovereigns in the Myedeo plane had been rattled.

The previously six Sovereigns vying for the plane's ownership suddenly became seven as the Sovereign of Ruin joined the fray.

No one knew that the Sovereign of Ruin was not really after the ownership of the plane. He was after Kyran.

When the Sovereign of Deception, backing the Gramen Kingdom, found the real reason why the Sovereign of Ruin had come, she came to him and made a proposal.

The details of the proposal was, of course, unknown. But one thing Kyran was sure of, it had something to do with him. And whatever it was, the Sovereign of Ruin seemed satisfied and agreed readily to the Sovereign of Deception's proposal.

A few minutes later, Anette looked at Kyran and asked, "Who... is it?"

Kyran raised his brows at her question. He did not think she would ask him. For all he knew, she had cut all ties in that plane when she decided to leave.

It appeared, she still had lingering feelings in that plane.

'Her family is still there. That I understand. But when she decided to leave without even thinking of what will happen to her tribe, it shows her attachment is superficial.' Kyran thought.

To be honest, he disapproved of Anette's decision to leave like that and let her own family suffer the consequences alone. As someone from the Regis Clan who had a very tight relation to his people, Kyran could not imagine how Anette lived without feeling guilty.

But then he realized, Anette might not show it but she definitely she felt it. And Kyran was not in the position to judge her decisions, because their circumstances were different.

The relationship of each member of the Solum Tribe was different from the Regis Clan. It was possible that some of the member of the Solum Tribe did not feel any attachment to them because of the situation they grew up in.

"The previous Kaiser of the Gramen Kingdom," Kyran answered after a short pause.

Anette's eyes grew wide in shock.

"Y-You—!" She started. But then stopped because to be honest, she did not know what to say. She was not even sure what she felt after knowing it.

Was she sad? Relieved? Scared? Worried?

Anette did not know.

Heaving a deep sigh, Anette gave Kyran a grim look and said, "That still doesn't mean they will definitely come here. If it is the current Kaiser, maybe... but he is only a Kaiser. The whole plane will not move just because you killed one of the previous Kaiser of a kingdom. Even if that kingdom is the current ruling one."

"I also... took a whole tribe."

This time, Anette could not help but stand and exclaimed, "What? You took a whole tribe?"

She suddenly recalled how Nolan would sometimes remind Kyran not to kidnap people when they leave. Before, she could only shake her head at his nonsense.

But now, Anette wondered if taking people with him was Kyran's hobby.

Hopefully not.

Feeling an incoming headache, Anette continued to ask Kyran, "Which tribe are we talking about here?"

"The Solum Tribe."

As soon as she heard his answer, Anette's heart shook.

It had been a long time since she had heard the name of that tribe. Her tribe. And she was surprised to learn that she actually cared.

Now that she thought of it, when Kyran said he killed someone important, was she scared to know if it was one of her people? And when he confirmed it was not, she was actually relieved?

"Where did you take them? No. Don't answer that," Anette shook her head, "More importantly, how did you even manage to take them?"

"I can't tell you that," Kyran replied with an apologetic smile. "What I can tell you, is because of the importance of the Solum Tribe, I kind of pissed the one backing the Gramen Kingdom. There is also this... particular person, who is very persistent in killing me and he already told that person about me."

Anette's brow furrowed at this information. She was aware of who Kyran was talking about and her heart sank.

"You mean to say... those people are now involved in whatever is happening in the Human plane?" She asked.

Kyran shook his head, "That I am not sure. But I will, when I get back. For now, please wear that at all times. Until I confirm everything, make sure to be extra careful."
