Julian blinked his teary eyes at him. Because of the state he was in, he looked pitiful. “What’s wrong?”
“Just wait here for a second.” Roy signaled him to quiet down.
His face showed curiosity. What did Far West want to tell him? Who had injured it? Is it Chaos or an unforeseen enemy?
Just a couple of seconds later, a pleasant, motherly voice was heard by him.
“You’ve done well so far. Don’t get startled. I am Far West.
“As a noble, I believe you already know that the continent has a soul, a consciousness of its own. This secret should have been told to you. It’s your right to know about it. It’s a complex concept to accept. But here you’re, hearing me out.
“I am harmed. It’s hard for me to talk to you for long. So I will cut straight to the chase.
“The small world you’re in is called Rocky Flame World. It hides a shard of the Chaos-Causing Float. No one except for a certain knew the hiding spot of that thing. But somehow, the followers learned of it too. They planned extensively to obtain it. They used the cursed magic circle to cut off my connection with the world so that I won’t be able to interfere with their plans. This act harmed me. I fell into a slumber for two weeks. It hasn’t been long since I awakened.
“I sent many to stop them. But regretfully, they had all felled. I am saddened to see that. But they must be stopped at any cause. If the Chaos-Causing Flute is recreated, millions will die.
“From their eyes, I gouged the true strength of the enemy. They are led By GhostWalker, a pious believer of Chaos. He was a strong one. But he separated his power from his flesh in order to enter this small world. He is probably at the same level as you. But he would become strong after the demonic ritual. You must stop him.
