The putrid corpse’s body was half black and half grey and looked no different than a decomposing carcass, full of puss.
It also bad big and small holes, some the size of saucers.
The part that makes guts churn is that each of its holes housed disgusting little things.
Roy got a clear look at them.
Some had worm-like bodies, and the others had centipedes-like bodies. The latter had countless legs made of bone-melting Force, while the former had two mouths. Each of their mouths was of a different color and had teeth shaped like blocks. These teeth were made of extremely lethal poisonous Force. If someone were to get bitten by them, they would melt down to nothing in seconds. Even if they are aura masters, they won’t be able to avoid that fate. The only way to survive their bite was to cut off the area which they bit before the poison could spread.
The centipedes’ legs, on the other hand, were not as poisonous, but getting pricked by a hundred of them would no doubt… kill you.
“These worms and centipedes are utterly horrifying. Don’t let them get close to you, or that will be it for you.” Roy warned both his wife and Tevenlor.
“I understand.” Although Tevenlor had a body made of divine steel, they could still reduce him to nothing by mixing their poisons.
“So disgusting! How can things like these exist.”
The Formless Siren felt sickened at the sight of worms jumping out of the holes of its body and then diving back in, and she puked out of disgust when she saw centipedes crawling out of its nose and ears and going into its open mouth and empty eye sockets.
“What a weakling! Even the sight of me can make you dizzy. You are better off dead.” The putrid corpse didn’t let this chance go to waste and immediately attacked her.
It raised its hand and immediately brought it down like a soldier.
“Chaotic Claw!”
The very next moment, multiple streaks of yellow and white, each glinting coldly like a well-polished blade, erupted out of its many holes.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
They moved very fast through the air, so fast that the Formless couldn’t even see what they were, and Tevenlor couldn’t react to them in time.
In Roy’s eyes, however, the hundred legs centipedes and the two-mouthed worms were moving at a snail’s pace.
He easily discerned who they were targeting.

They were closing in on his hunched and puking wife and were to reach her in an instant.
She was the weakest and most unskilled member of their party. She was not prepared for battle. Heck, even a disgusting sight was enough to make her puke and leave her exposed to surprise attacks.
The putrid corpse probably thought it would be easy to take her out, so it had the insects it was raising attack her.
What it didn’t know was that a dragonfuckingkin was protecting her with his life.
Just as it looked like they would dig into her, Roy effortlessly pushed her away from them and behind him.
“Daring to attack my wife in my presence? A foolish choice.”
Putting himself in between them, he waved his hand as if he was swatting away a fly.
Boom! Waves of darkness streamed out of his body like a mind-numbing drop or an ass-exploding explosion and crashed down on the cloud made of hundreds of worms and centipedes tightly packed together, hurtling them into the wall.
They didn’t die. Roy kept them pressed against the wall and gifted them another wave of darkness.
This one, however, was different than the first one.
Black thundering snakes could be seen dancing in and around it.
It signified something!
It was infused with dozens of streaks of black aura lightning, and thus, it was a dozen times more dangerous than the first one!
“Die!” Roy shouted as the black lightning wave crashed on them.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Hundreds of poisonous creatures exploded in a second!
Before Roy’s immeasurable black aura, they were nothing but ants.
Just like that, the putrid corpse lost all of its tamed pets.
The system’s notification rang in Roy’s mind.
『Ding! Congratulation. You defeated a hundred two-mouthed worms and a hundred hundred-legs centipede.』

His first idea was to run out of its reach. He immediately discarded it and put up a shield. He would be able to run away but not the Formless Siren. Dragging her out of its trajectory also didn’t seem like a possible idea as it was just too fast and launched towards them from too close.
“Divine Wall!”
Not one, not ten, but tens of thousands of Mana threads stretched out of his hands, shaping into a gaseous wall. Roy coated it with arrow force, not only solidifying it but also increasing its sharpness to the level of a divine blade that can cut iron like mud.
It wasn’t bigger or wider than the claw and only hid Roy and his wife behind it.
However, the look in his eyes said it all.
He was confident that it could go against the claw!
Clang! A metallic sound rang out as the claw clashed against the wall. This produced countless sparks.
The result was that it disappeared after being unable to push it back!
The putrid corpse was slacked-jaw at this sight.
It wasn’t the only one surprised. Tevenlor was too.
“He imitated my greatest defensive skill after seeing it once? Fuck, this guy is a genius.”
Tevenlor was shocked to see that as well, but he didn’t let that stop him from jumping towards it to deal the final blow.
