“Oi! Did ya hear? Allen of Class D jus’ got a ‘Tales’ Summon!”
“Yeah, I heard that too. Damn, the guy’s luck really maxed out…”
Currently, I was using [Spectre], while wandering around the Academy Grounds. I had been listening to the student’s chatter here for some time. It appears that they had classed me as a powerful summon, which was known as ‘Tales’. Of course, it became the hot topic of almost everyone. As my alias, ‘Jack The Ripper’ originated in Earth, many were wondering what my legends were.

I glanced at the camera floating besides me. Hmph, such ludicrousness Why must I do this shit.

Damn this LiveStream Hero shit… I haven’t had revealed myself yet, though I did make an intro for the sake of it. Walking out the classroom halls, I stared at the late morning sun, before deciding to do some more wandering, which will probably blow the viewers mind’s off.
[Feather Light: Active]
Activating my ability, I then took a jump up to the skies, my camera quickly trailing by my side. It was quite the sight, gazing the other world in bird’s eye view. The towering clock away from me was projected by a large magic crystal on all 4 sides, while the large magic crystal was held by a large, magical tower.
Taking a look above the clouds, several flying ships or [Skidbladnir] were calmly floating and sailing the clouds, riding the winds. Of course, the too were powered by magic items. Descending lower, just enough to view the streets, I gave a small grin. It was like a joy ride. People and buildings continuously flashed by, as I passed by them. The structures and things here were truly like a fantasy world that would just exist in a human’s imaginations back on Earth.
[W-What is this masterpiece?! My eyes!]
[This guy’s insanely skilled man…] [Is this really a movie, or a game cinematic? The place looks VERY real…] [Hmm… To the guy above, I’m also feeling the same. I’m a video editor after all. It would take years to do this kind of ultra-realistic sets, even with a team. But this guy… And he’s livestreaming it too…] [Hey! Nice to meet a fellow video editor too! Yeah, if this is just one guy’s doing, then he’s got real skills man.] [Damn, if this is an upcoming mmorpg, then I’ll gladly spend my money.] [Plot twist, this is actually a reveal of Hytale, Half Life, & Silent Hill release dates.] [Dammit, don’t jinx us man!] [It’s a Doritos ad! I had settled at the roof of the giant clock tower. Taking in a deep breath, I marveled at the emotions that I felt as I stared at the otherworld. Joy, fulfilness, freedom… It was truly a breath taking experience. I wonder if this is what Magellan,Marco Polo, and other travelers felt when they discovered new lands unknown to their fellows.

I eyed my shadow, as it enlarged and took on the shape of a human. Soon, it revealed Miyanase, who’s gaze was reminiscent. I guess she’s feeling quite the nostalgia of seeing her old world by her own eyes.
“Kaide…”, I heard her mutter behind me. I couldn’t see her this time… What was happening? I don’t know, but I’m not feeling so good about it.
A strange tingle suddenly ran down my spine. “Hmm…?”, I quietly wondered… Why is she doing this…?
Closing my eyes, I gave out a silent deep breath about my situation. Sure enough, I felt Miyanase behind me shift and move towards me. I closed my eyes once more, preparing myself to not flinch at whatever she was going to do… However, it wasn’t actually necessary… I opened up an eye, as I felt Miyanase’s weight on my back. Looking down, I could see her arms snaked around my torso, while her breathing seemed to be relaxed.What happened, is that Miyanase just hugged me out of nowhere… Perhaps using me as a body pillow works in this situation too?
[What is this camera? Is this attached to a drone?]
[If it’s attached to a drone, then it’s quite an advanced one… Cause I don’t really hear any drone sounds at all.] [The views are great though…] [Damn… It feels like it’s a completely different world…]Fortunately, my [Spectre] still covered me and Miyanase, so the viewers couldn’t really see anything besides what’s shown in the camera.
Still… I’m wondering… Why did she hug me again? Tilting my head, I could see her face buried on my back. Giving myself a bit of a throat clearing, I then asked her.
“Uhh… Miyanase…? Is there any problems…?”, I gently asked her, in which she didn’t seem to respond for a few moments. She moved her head and directly gazed at my own eyes.
I sweat dropped for a bit, as her lifeless eyes continued to peer directly into my own. It was a bit eerie…
“… I’m sensing the presence of those [Tear Of The Corrupted]…”, She simply said, tilting her head for a bit. Ahh, it seems like her personality’s still of the Lady of Joy, and not the other one. I nodded inwardly in satisfaction. That’s good. It would be difficult to deal with her out of character behaviors right now…
“I see…”, I nodded at her words. It seems that she can actually feel those things, probably since one almost corrupted her back then.
[Plotter’s Discernment: Active]
[Bloodlust: Active]
“What an odd feeling…”, It appears that activating the two skills allowed me to somewhat feel the corruption. Although it was still negligent, probably since the thing was only strongly felt by souls and other beings directly connected to the after life. Still…
[Saint’s Light: Active]
I tried altering the light that my eyes was receiving, and marked a few places where I could feel the presence of the tears much more stronger in green light. Since the area was large and the presence of corruption was vague, I was trying to narrow it down to the areas in which the aura of the tears were more focused. These abilities that those Ancient Gods had given me were quite handy, though I was far from mastering them. However, I am working myself towards there. If I would say so myself, my favorite part of training was experimenting my abilities by combining them, seeing what their effects would be…I shook my head, clearing out my thoughts.
I had just finished marking up the areas that I would be focusing on exploring. I stood up, and then jumped. Miyanase was still clinging to me like a koala on a eucalyptus tree, though she had moved herself so that she was sticking on my chest now. Contemplating for a while, I then felt something catch my senses. “Hmm?”, I squinted my eyes, then let out a small grin.
“Well, it seems that our first task is here.”, I gave Miyanase’s a pat and a smile, before heading towards an alley below us.
[Shade Walker: Active]
The shadows of the alley devoured me, Miyanase, and the camera, erasing our traces from the physical world. Finally, this mission is now really beginning…
